Not being a _______ but, did you say Bluetooth? You should have at least plugged in the 3.5. Bluetooth has itโs place, but when a wired connection is available, and as convenient as being in a car.

My friend to get the full power of any premium audio system in general you have to go in the settings and raise the base and those settings and it comes with even more power cuz I have a 2017 Ford Focus SEL sedan that has a Sony sound system with 355 wattage

I owned a 2011 Toyota Prius with the JBL system and like you, I was relatively impressed. Only thing lacking for me was bass, so I added some.

Great video. With car audio itโs always a fight for space between sound deadening, side impact bracing ac ducts etc. They rely on a lot of dsp to keep the distortion down and try to create imaging in a less than ideal space. BTW Mercedes has some very nice Burmeister systems in their larger cars.

Ended up getting the Bowers and Wilkins System on 2020 Volvo S60 Polestar. Best system I’ve heard in a car yet.

The system on the Mercedes isnt Harman Kardon, on the C series the Burmeister i think its the only option, and you can tell by the 3.5"’ grilles they are stainless steel.

I never liked the Bose systems I had in Infiniti and Lexus. Always thought the sound was muddy but the "upgraded" Harmon Kardon in my BMW’s always had much cleaner sound especially in the bass department. I guess it all depends on the various builds in different cars and models. In general I find the "standard" Harmon Kardon in BMW tends to sound very muddy and is worse than the Bose systems.

Do a B&W sound system. Belkin and Wilkins. I bet that will blow all them away

JBL is my favorite audio company. I have 2 JBL eon612 pa speakers and I also have their speakers in my boat and they preform very very well.

You’ll change your mind about harmon kardon in a kia stinger

for average people the stock system is more than enough but there are people like us who will upgrade even if its a premium model

That Mercedes only has 5 speakers. It’s not the Burmester system and even the upgraded system has only 13 speakers not 15. Get your facts right before comparing it to a shitty toyota lol?

Bose is best overall. I have a ton of experience in car audio.. Both JBL and HK are hit or miss. Bose might not be the best, but on average is better than the rest.

I work for a rental car company and the best systems I heard so far are (1) Meridian in the Range Rover (2) Reveal in the Lincoln navigator (3) Burmeister in the Mercedes S-Class.

Great, another paid biased review. More bass doesn’t mean a better system. Some people like clarity in their surround systems. I have a Harmon kardon in my BMW and it sounds amazing. I’ve had cars with bose, infinity, and jbl. None sounds as great as HK. But I guess if I was still a kid I’m my 20, booming bass from a block away means better. ๐คทโโ๏ธ๐คฆโโ๏ธ

I think Volvos is one of the fewer that has the best sound quality and bass because i have 4 leased cars and are cars that cost somewhere around 60.000 and 80.000 euros and my current car is Mercedes and I miss the Volvo sound

But to the max the trouble the base and all that I would always do that even in rental cars that had sound systems that were premium

I also really liked the JBL system in the toyota is sounded a lot more clearer. The Mercedes sound system was not as high quality I could tell that that the sound was distorted or even more muffled and not as clear as the toyota.
