I don’t have a good pc for Vr so should I get the quest 2 or wait for the new version with the higher storage I’m just afraid the new one might get scalped and I’ll not be able to get one

  6. Bob bob on November 3, 2021 at 10:16 am

What would be better the valve index or the G2 With the index controllers and base stations?

  11. Anthony Lugo on November 3, 2021 at 10:24 am

I was thinking the cost to get into vr was thousands of dollars in pc upgrades and gear but hearing about the quest makes me excited 300$ is cheaper than a series x

  16. JWaXiMus 11 on November 3, 2021 at 10:32 am

Im in school rn but with the quest 2, can I buy vr games online and play those. I also just got a pc so im a noobie.

  17. Norsia on November 3, 2021 at 10:33 am

the Knuckle straps on the index controllers are NOT to secure the controller to your hands, if you let go of the controllers while you are swinging like you’re throwing a grenade while not strapped up with the lanyards you’re going to YEET your controller across the room. the knuckle straps are purely so you do not drop the controllers when you open or close your fingers for finger movement.

  18. Majed Alharbi on November 3, 2021 at 10:37 am

Many thanks for your great videos. I’ve just ordered 2 Oculus Quest 2, and subscribed to your channel 👍

  19. Tatsuhiro Satou on November 3, 2021 at 10:37 am

100% full disclosure tracking isn’t a huge deal for me 98% of my use will be PH VR

  20. David G on November 3, 2021 at 10:38 am

Doesn’t the quest 2 have a bad battery

  24. Mason Chung on November 3, 2021 at 10:43 am

I think you mean 400 bucks for the oculas

  25. Giblix Studio on November 3, 2021 at 10:43 am

I got a Rift S. thing is if you are a streamer. You DO NOT want a wireless streaming headset like the quest. The delay is horrendous. Rift S’s only downside i experience is the screendoor effect. You don’t notice it at first, but after a few weeks or months it becomes more and more noticeable.

Can’t wait for the developments in 2022. Might even upgrade to the next headset.

  26. Nexus on November 3, 2021 at 10:43 am

The oculus quest 2 is probably the best headset here. Its wireless, portable, professional, PCVR compatible, its got everything you can ask for in a vr headset.

  27. Codey on November 3, 2021 at 10:44 am

I have a question: Can you use the valve index’s controllers with the hp reverb g2?

  28. VR life on November 3, 2021 at 10:45 am

very nice Video again 👍🏼 I have to say I’m happy that I saved some money up to get the valve

  29. Jordan Billups on November 3, 2021 at 10:46 am

I really enjoyed this video thanks a lot for the advice and I think I will get the quest two as my budget is very low

  30. Ben Stenson on November 3, 2021 at 10:47 am

quest is not a good headset for PC it keeps lagging and my PC is more than capable to run VR

  31. Lunchos El Maximus on November 3, 2021 at 10:48 am

This review missed a LOT of the flaws of some of these sets. I’m guessing you don’t own them(or all of them). The reverb G2 for example has some issues that haven’t been resolved (tiny sweet spot for example, it’s VERY hard to get the best out of it)

  32. What Ever on November 3, 2021 at 10:48 am

nice I’m thinking to wait for the new PlayStation one

  33. Timmy’s Confusing Adventure on November 3, 2021 at 10:49 am

I’m confused between getting the g2 or the quest, my budget is quite large and I already have a vr-ready pc however im not sure if it’s worth getting the g2 with its tracking issues and flimsy controllers, while on the other hand I’m not sure if the quest would be good for pc vr and it also has a low resolution.

  34. tontu peli on November 3, 2021 at 10:50 am

i can’t not find eany oculus quest 2

  35. Gary McCray on November 3, 2021 at 10:51 am

I have Original Rift, 2nd Generation Rift, Quest and Quest 2.
For all practical purposes the Facebook requirement simply is no big deal.
The fact that the Quest 2 can be used also as a Rift hooked up to a PC (wired or wireless means that you have both top quality stand alone and top quality PC based games available and Steam has some really great games for it in addition to the Oculus titles.)
The big problem is that VR Games in general seriously lag behind the normal Console and PC non-VR games.
Half Life Alyx is probably the best VR game so far (I am not a fan of Sony console games).
The game gap is closing and eventually I expect it will become easy enough for the PC and Console Game makers to simply make a VR version as well.
Very highly recommend the Quest 2 because of it’s great graphics and dual use nature.

  39. hellow0rld on November 3, 2021 at 10:55 am

I want oculus quest 2 but the games are soo much

  40. Zhou Pact on November 3, 2021 at 10:56 am

I just can not accept facebook, as I do not see any reason to trust them any degree of information about myself. I am sure it is nice and all. I got the original oculus rift, and the first quest myself. The first quest… well that was a sad disappointment really. Laggy, horrible pc connection. And even made my head hurt quite quick. The rift on the other hand is more a problem of having gotten worn out.

Considering I deleted my facebook exactly because companies like Facebook are not trustworthy and are not exactly there to look out for my best interest. I will just stay away from their products in the future.

… 🙁 And screw the racists of Valve Index. Let me buy it!!!

  41. Relity on November 3, 2021 at 10:56 am

I really don’t know what I’m looking for but if you know Eddie VR basically I want The VR that he has and what he plays on 😅 it looks like he has the valve index one because they look the same but I’m not sure? 🤔

  43. Ronnie Grissom on November 3, 2021 at 10:57 am

Do we get free games on Quest 2? And how we download more games to it? How many games can we store in it?

  47. Ruger in Da Chevy on November 3, 2021 at 11:04 am

Nice job on this. Solid general overview. Like how you clarified, up front, specifically what the video was about. Then delivered. Earned my sub.

  50. WasAwarrioR on November 3, 2021 at 11:08 am

I sold my Rift S 6 weeks ago and replaced it with the Quest 2 with all the accessories, I’m now selling the Quest 2 as it is terrible at being a PC VR headset. I am now buying a Valve Index.
