Kill switches are the ONLY security feature. Every remote controlable components are not.

great vid, thx. Which, non, -keypass, password manager do you use. If any? I’m afraid of the hassle of keypass, not a "super user"

  5. Loveleen Sidhu on March 29, 2021 at 12:28 am

    Only cryptophones are secured

  6. Tobias Frisch on March 29, 2021 at 12:28 am

I think you have missed that you can even turn off the cellular base band on the Librem 5 and the Pinephone. This is actually pretty important since you can be tracked via your SIM-card even if you deactivate GPS.

    Awesome thank you

  9. Semere Araya on March 29, 2021 at 12:32 am

It’s great but could mention what type of algorithm (Cryptography) you have used to defend the security issues?

I’m interested in getting the right phone not to be traced anymore. The Fairphone looks good one thing what about the apps and how to setup the phone so your data won’t be harvested. Let me know your thoughts

Hello, others os are on the bootable mSD? thx.

They should all ship with a good strong faraday pouch — notwithstanding the hardware power switches for the various components on the Librem 5 and the Pinephone, which should have been present on all our mobile devices from the beginning.

For those of us who have always rejected planned obsolescence, opacity, and surveillance capitalism as valid premises in the design of devices, the Librem 5 may be ideal.

  17. Well, I'll be damned. on March 29, 2021 at 12:48 am

Give it a reiteration or two, and pinephone will likely be the winner. A reasonably priced, budget-mid tier phone running linux.
Librem 5 is overpriced, imo, like many of the other smartphones on the market today.

He helped me get some info such as whatsapp facebook, text messages, call logs and even phone conversations that I helpedneeded for proof of his secretive
affair, the first time we spoke, we had a very long phone consultation in which he gave me all my options that he could think of to resolve my case, and he
even recommended I try other options before hiring him, which shows that he is honest. I decided to hire him and I am glad I did. He is a fantastic.
investigator and a great person; to all loyal partners out there if you have a dishonest partner don’t hesitate to contact him via +1 (304) 470-9898

    Buen video bro.

fairphone and librem are typical lines of business sugarcoated with "ethics" and "openness". given their specs, the prices are sickening. pinephone is the only choice for true open source advocates

  33. Cory Wise on March 29, 2021 at 1:17 am

  34. Skeptical Caveman on March 29, 2021 at 1:18 am

Fairphone has the best specs, screen and also the ethical choice, Pinephone is the budget choice and Librem is for the paranoid people.
