How did I adore Fallout and Horizon but couldn’t get into RDR, Skyrim or Witcher? Total yawnfests.

  13. Rizky Pribadi on June 7, 2021 at 5:14 am

Red Dead Redemption 2 still the best

  16. Reuben Griffith on June 7, 2021 at 5:17 am

The new assassins creed games might aswell be totally different games. Assassins creed his hidden blades, jumping from roof top to roof top, in old towns and cities. Personally I feel like they have taken assassins creed away from what it was originally.

  17. yemon naing on June 7, 2021 at 5:18 am

    Red dead redemption 2🖤🖤🖤

  18. Dizinii on June 7, 2021 at 5:19 am

Oh no. Rdr2 is my first open world game. Does that mean everything else will pale in comparison? Sigh

  19. RAZOR12334 on June 7, 2021 at 5:24 am

  23. Artjom Bulotsjoff on June 7, 2021 at 5:33 am

  24. Dragonboy 461 on June 7, 2021 at 5:33 am

The moment i hear CD Project RED i think about the Witcher 3. It’s complex, confusing and integrating like not many other open world rpgs out there. And you won’t feel like a true witcher until you killed Morvudd when he had a skull icon above his head, by coincidentally stumbling upon him, dying the whole time but your ego won’t let you go on your ways until you’ve defeated that bestiality with every bit of strength and skill you had. So in short: It’s a bloody masterpiece of a game and everybody who loves a complex, vibrant almost living world to experience the greatest adventures of your life in. Then play the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

Is the last of us open world

  29. N. Cody Adams on June 7, 2021 at 5:39 am

Conan Exiles is amazing as well. Especially since you can build your own castle

  30. G Woody on June 7, 2021 at 5:39 am

Disapointed that Far Cry 5 and Ghost Recon Wildlands didnt make the list. They didnt have the best stories but the gameplay and the unpredictable mayhem should have landed Far Cry 5 on the list.
Granted, there were a lot of great open worlds coming out 2016-2018, before everything went all loot oriented crit box gear scored bullet sponge RPG style to make microtransactions more tempting. The 2016-18 era had the microtrans options, but it wasnt out of hand yet.
Thanks for your vids. One more review thats pretty much gonna lead to me picking up the whole Horizon series.

  31. Mohd Altamash on June 7, 2021 at 5:40 am

Red dead redemption 2 and gta v are legend game

  32. Jibbyf on June 7, 2021 at 5:40 am

Imagine a Lord of the rings game but with the same open world graphical quality of RDR 2

  33. Jason Jobsis on June 7, 2021 at 5:40 am

Death stranding is boring as. I would of put Days Gone on this list instead.

  34. DABI ON SOME SHIT on June 7, 2021 at 5:41 am

  35. Erik Welch on June 7, 2021 at 5:41 am

  39. Edward Bibillio on June 7, 2021 at 5:43 am

Assasins Creed Origins still blows my mind.

  40. G Woody on June 7, 2021 at 5:43 am

I am not a huge gamer, I am pretty picky when buying games. Theres been several games I dont get further than a few hours into and never touch again…
But Far Cry 5 and AC Origins… i will probably play them through a few times.

  41. Renato Velarde on June 7, 2021 at 5:44 am

I gotta say RDR2 is nice to look at in the first play through but it really isn’t very fun to play. The controls are annoying, you never get completely used to them. And rockstars’ weird thing where you can learn what your objectives were only AFTer each mission and they’re random and unpredicatable. Add to this the floaty mechanics, it just doesn’t feel “fun” as a video game. There’s so many interesting potential mini games all with weird controls and no real incentive to get better at them. It’s no zero dawn, that’s for sure.

  42. BAHRAM TV on June 7, 2021 at 5:44 am

    Days Gone is The Best

  43. Meb III on June 7, 2021 at 5:45 am

Two games that won’t be making the top ten of open world PlayStation games; Starfield and The Elder Scrolls VI!!

  44. Marwan Andaloucia on June 7, 2021 at 5:50 am

Red dead redemption 2 , horizon zero dawn , days gone is a must to play you won’t regret trust me on this . I’ll give the rest a chance

  48. Law Of Averages on June 7, 2021 at 5:56 am

May get some stick for this but I can’t help but feel that these reviews are very aesthetic, superficial and not really about the gaming side. Although it is important and pleasing to the eye it seems that a lot reviews get too hung up on the lush back landscapes in games and very little on the actual game play, story mission, game development, fun factor. I agree RDR 2 is easily one of the best on nearly all levels for this but I really feel the likes of Horizon zero dawn and the witcher 3, although beautiful and mesmerizing at times, a large part of the gameplay truly lacks that Uncharted/tomb raider rush that really gives the gaming thrill. Some of these games are repetitive as hell in large parts and I totally lost interest in Horizon due to this very reason. That said,, I think your review was very professional and well made. Please do not let this deter you in any way from making more.

  49. hauntedMilk on June 7, 2021 at 5:57 am

Swap Days Gone for AC Odyssey and I am right there with you.

  50. Peter on June 7, 2021 at 6:00 am

Rdr2 on PS5 (single player) is the best open world game I’ve ever played in my life and I’m 39 years old (and I’m playing on all systems since I was 12).
