is swords of ditto not playable in co-op if you have two nintendo switch lites? thats usually what “couch only co-op” means for us,.. if it doesnt say online play.

  2. Ollardoh on February 1, 2021 at 6:18 pm

We Were Here Together. My friend and I love puzzles and this, and its predecessors, certainly go to our top co-op experiences we’ve had so far.

  3. Stuart J on February 1, 2021 at 6:19 pm

Nice update. Not too sure on Swords of Ditto though.

  4. Kane Sutton on February 1, 2021 at 6:20 pm

Not sure if it ever appeared in your lists, but I’d love to recommend Children of Morta. I found the story and gameplay to be really engaging, especially considering I tend to struggle with the dungeon crawler genre.

  5. Chute No Bigode Games on February 1, 2021 at 6:20 pm

    show de bola… o/ chute no Bigode… o/

  6. SchneeChaos LP on February 1, 2021 at 6:20 pm

A way out is amazing and much better than just P10 😋

And you missed out the We were here series, especially the third part We were here together!

  7. Chris Ross on February 1, 2021 at 6:22 pm

Enter the gungeon is gotta be #1

  8. Rajiv Dalal on February 1, 2021 at 6:22 pm

Keep talking and nobody explodes is a fun and challenging experience…Especially during this time when couch Co op is not possible everywhere…😁
Have to try some of the others in the list though…

  9. CodeMon 13 on February 1, 2021 at 6:23 pm

over 500 hours in DRG and I cannot find any other enjoyable co-op action with no toxic community because the game is built around teamwork.
Repeated excitement every time you get enough minerals to unlock sweet massive blinged out beards.

P.S. footage shown is pre alpha, it looks WAY better now that it’s 1.0 with customizable armor, guns, pickax, beards, stash, hair, hats, victory pose

  10. Vladislav Plugin on February 1, 2021 at 6:24 pm

    Where is Struggling?
    They must be in top10

  11. Ziuber Rebuiz on February 1, 2021 at 6:25 pm

My gf and I would not agree with #1. Overcooked 2 was more polished and fun experience for us as it’s concentrates more on cooperation than Moving Out does. Moving Out even feels like it has one music track for every level which quickly becomes annoying.
Also, I didn’t know that Swords of Ditto had such nice gameplay improvements. I might finally give it a chance. Thanks!

  12. Michael Palin on February 1, 2021 at 6:25 pm

Swords of Ditto, Knights and Bikes, Nex Machina and Overcooked 2 can be bought on GOG too.

  13. m1sty on February 1, 2021 at 6:26 pm

You should cover the game RotMG if you haven’t

  14. David M. Cabal Inés on February 1, 2021 at 6:26 pm

I’m surprised that Children of Morta didn’t pass the cut.

  15. buttkick22 on February 1, 2021 at 6:28 pm

Super blood hockey on PS4 is great. Even for non sports fans.

  16. Bonus on February 1, 2021 at 6:29 pm

Unravel 2 is one of my personal favourites for co-op! However Moving out and Overcooked 2 are great!

  17. Get Indie Gaming on February 1, 2021 at 6:33 pm

Hi everyone! Welcome to the late 2020 update of the best indie games we enjoy playing at home or online in co-op. Cheers all!

  18. ConAirNL on February 1, 2021 at 6:36 pm

I like how this top 10 covers all kinds of genres. Kudos for picking the excellent Nex Machina. An absolute outstanding shmup that offers a lot of challenge if you want to complete.

Number 10: A Way Out is an excellent co-op game but I wouldn’t really consider it as an indie title.

Overcooked 2 >>> Moving Out in our honest opinion. We couldn’t stop playing Overcooked whereas Moving Out became frustrating quite fast due to issues like breaking windows thanks to the cord attached to the fridge and getting stuck a lot.

As a suggestion a Top 10 for Halloween. Don’t miss out on Killing Floor 2 if you do.

  19. Duncan More on February 1, 2021 at 6:37 pm

Honestly I would put Deep Rock above Risk of Rain. RoR is a rogue game that has the option for co-op while Deep Rock is built around the idea of co-op unlike Rain.

  20. Maximiano Coelho on February 1, 2021 at 6:39 pm

I know its not from this year. But Sythetik reached that point of pure goodness this year through updates.

  21. Martin McFly on February 1, 2021 at 6:39 pm

I’d definitely recommend Magicka, Trine, Human Fall Flat, Journey To The Savage Planet, Guacamelee, Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime, Death Squared, Nom Nom Galaxy, Broforce, Outward (haven’t played in co-op though). And that’s ten already so I’ll just stop here.

  22. Jay Tre on February 1, 2021 at 6:43 pm

Deep rock galactic easily my fav on the list. such a fun game.

  23. ieatmodels on February 1, 2021 at 6:43 pm

moving out is Team 17!?!? how the heck do they keep slipping titles past me! huge fan after their original worms back in the day! prison escape and survivalists was not my jam though unfortunately 🙁

  24. Sinan Sahin on February 1, 2021 at 6:48 pm

Deep Rock is my game of the year

  25. Makki on February 1, 2021 at 6:49 pm

Everyone should try Kalimba which never get any mention in these lists. It has excellent singleplayer component in addition to co-op levels. I would also recommend Assault Android Cactus, ibb & obb, DYO, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light (Temple of Osiris was terrible), BattleBlock Theater and of course Portal 2 (not indie obviously, but the synonim for great co-op nonetheless).

As far as this list goes I’m surprised that Moving Out is ahead of Overcooked 2, I played a demo a while ago and it didn’t click with me. Also finished A Way Out a month or two ago and it was huge disappointment both for me and my friend. Beginning when you have to escape from prison is the best part, after that it all goes downhill (Prison Break anyone) until the very end where we see some action.

  26. JOTA on February 1, 2021 at 6:50 pm

Phasmophobia should be on this list!

  27. tiagocosmos on February 1, 2021 at 6:50 pm

i don’t play coop games, I play videogames to avoid people but i’m watching and liking this because I like the channel.

  28. Lucas Altamirano on February 1, 2021 at 6:52 pm

    Top ten indie games

    No. 10 a EA game

  30. MiniMorn on February 1, 2021 at 6:53 pm

Deep Rock is truly fantastic. Some of the best PvE gameplay I’ve played in recent years, on top of a brilliant community who love helping out new players. Easily my favourite release of 2020.

  31. RealMTL on February 1, 2021 at 6:54 pm

I love these Co-op games. Even we are older now I like having the chance to play these games with my bro. Next up for us is the Untitled Goose Game.

  42. Gabriel Dauphin on February 1, 2021 at 7:14 pm

Street of Rage 4 is also a must have.

  43. Pan Necro on February 1, 2021 at 7:15 pm

Deep Rock, the way out seems great. Risk of rain is a must after playing the first game. All those kids games are not really my type. 😉

  44. m1sty on February 1, 2021 at 7:15 pm

You should cover the game RotMG if you haven’t

  45. yardmanharris on February 1, 2021 at 7:15 pm

Spiritfarer has to be one of my top recent co-op indies! Completed it solo but had a lot of fun starting it with my friend as the cat. Such a beautiful game 🙂

  46. IIIAHMIII on February 1, 2021 at 7:16 pm

My friends are always to buzzy playing trash with their ugly girlfriends
