Timestamps are way more appreciated by the viewers than you’d imagine

  3. Desastreger on July 21, 2021 at 8:48 pm

I remember dropping Void Bastards because something scared me shitless. The ambience in that game gets the job done.

  4. Oxen Barnstokkr III on July 21, 2021 at 8:53 pm

dudes, LOOOOOVED Greedfall, Pyre and Warhammer 40k Space Marine. completely agree. fantastic games!

  5. Bullet Time on July 21, 2021 at 8:53 pm

Finally someone actually mention tower of monsters! 😭

  6. Grey Wolf on July 21, 2021 at 8:54 pm

    Tricia Helfer is a goddess.

  7. AmusedHermit on July 21, 2021 at 8:55 pm

1)War hammer Mechaninicus is a much better AA product then space marine
2)The surge 2 is basically AAA while surge 1 came out of nowhere similar to how Divinity orignal sin was AA and 2 more of AAA (personally i enjoyed the surge 1 more)

  8. Roland Clarke on July 21, 2021 at 8:57 pm

Greedfall is my favourite AA game ever and stisfied my Witcher 3 withdrawals – even if not totally open world. And I replayed 7 times. Plague Tale is my No 2,..from this list.

  9. Csumbi on July 21, 2021 at 8:58 pm

Spacemarine is freakin amazing, and its a travesty that it got no continuation.

  10. Michael Gromyko on July 21, 2021 at 8:58 pm

Remant is by FAR best game on this list. Depth and gameplay is on it’s own level. Nothing come near. You have to figure it out everything on your own…or YouTube. Returnal is Remant.

When I saw dragons dogma at the beginning I knew this was gonna be a good video. That game is incredible and I still play it to this day

  12. Xavier .Garand on July 21, 2021 at 9:01 pm

one of my favorite WH40k game is "Mechanicus", I’d say it’s a AA game as well.

  13. Nerte on July 21, 2021 at 9:01 pm

What is this "african savanna" game @01:02 ?

  14. kuaikukia on July 21, 2021 at 9:04 pm

Pyre is so underrated game. People should play it

  15. Andy Weathers on July 21, 2021 at 9:07 pm

Long time fan, and I’m so glad to see you (and your great taste in games) doing gem lists. We need it now more than ever with all the shovelware!

  16. dsgrsggjgfj on July 21, 2021 at 9:09 pm

Wasteland 3 is god tier. Its those games where its waaayy funner to play then to watch. The perfect balance between rpg and survival. The story is dark and amazing. I’m not really into niche games but the game was just so fantastic I was shocked because thought I wouldn’t like it as much judging by trailers and gameplay. 10/10.

  17. Engelbert Schniepelmeister on July 21, 2021 at 9:10 pm

love, love, LOVE Void Bastards! Tried it thanks to your review and immediately fell in love with it. The very definition of an underrated gem.

  18. Xavier Abii on July 21, 2021 at 9:10 pm

Wow this list blew my mind for real! Also its so weird that Void bastards randomly popped into my head a few hours before seeing this video lol!

  19. Grampamurked on July 21, 2021 at 9:12 pm

How are you not reporting on Steam Deck? Yours was the first channel I tuned in to hear details and got zip. Not complaining just surprised

  20. Vincent Cavanagh on July 21, 2021 at 9:12 pm

    Masterworks all, can’t go wrong.

  21. lvolpe on July 21, 2021 at 9:12 pm

    Remnant is fucking amazing!

  22. Lost Keys on July 21, 2021 at 9:14 pm

Well.. it’s pretty obvious this guy likes western fantasy.. sadly I’m not interested in any of these these titles… sucks

  23. J on July 21, 2021 at 9:15 pm

I NEED REMNANT 2!!! What do they need? Bank account numbers, ss card? Blank checks?? Come on devs I can’t be the only one needing more Remnent

  24. ThatOtherGuy on July 21, 2021 at 9:16 pm

Dragons Dogma Dark Arisen "remaster" was one of my top games of the 2020s and it’s only 2021.

  25. Harry Jozeph on July 21, 2021 at 9:17 pm

I wouldn’t play any of these games.

  26. SFDPSFDP on July 21, 2021 at 9:17 pm

Disco Elysium though it is aimed at a mature audience. Kingdom Come Deliverance is really an amazing RPG for those who value realism and are sick of the usual monsters/zombie/magic in RPGs. I would also include the Stalker and Metro series since apart from Exodus and the upcoming Shadow of Chernobyl, were made on relatively small budgets.

  27. Danganbenpa on July 21, 2021 at 9:18 pm

Is NieR:Automata double A? It’s got a much smaller budget than most AAA games, yet it’s one of the most important games of the past ten years and pretty fantastic. It’d be at the top of my AA list if it counts. But it does have much nicer graphics than most of these games so maybe not.

I believe It Takes 2 is one of most fun games I’ve played in years. It was impossible to be bored. It was easy enough to play that my wife can enjoy it but the puzzles were challenging enough that it didn’t feel like a child’s game. The different scenarios you go through are so amazing like something out of Pixar movies. I can’t praise the developer’s imaginations and work in this game enough.

  30. Jeigh Neither on July 21, 2021 at 9:22 pm

Haha, I have everyone of these, but I’ve only played half, I really need to play them all. Deadly Tower of Monsters is stupid good.

  31. Robert Young on July 21, 2021 at 9:25 pm

ICEY, Bladed Fury, Guacamelee, Rouge Legacy, 20xx, Outriders (that’s maybe AA. 5), Inside and Blair Witch are all great AA games that bring solid moment to moment gameplay and/or excellent stories to their limited scope or sometimes janky user experience

  32. J_H2000 on July 21, 2021 at 9:29 pm

It’s definitely closer to AAA than most of the games her but any game on the total war series is amazing and the Warhammer series is the world’s greatest time sink

  33. James on July 21, 2021 at 9:30 pm

Space marine was brilliant, I really miss that game

  34. Lennie Leng on July 21, 2021 at 9:30 pm

I was going to suggest Risk if Rain 2, then I remembered its AAA. Silly me

  35. Durrell Bennett on July 21, 2021 at 9:31 pm

Definitely looking into Void Bastards now. Thanks for this list! I was looking for something new.

  36. Inkpoison 83 on July 21, 2021 at 9:31 pm

Love AA games. Remnant from the Ashes is probably my favorite.

  37. Andrea Venini on July 21, 2021 at 9:31 pm

Great list, played some of them and highly enjoyed them! May i add Vanquish? Is that game considered AA?

  38. JuneyTooLooney 216 on July 21, 2021 at 9:33 pm

Elder Scrolls is my favorite AA game

  39. Augustin Adrian Cristea on July 21, 2021 at 9:34 pm

  40. Dmitri Popov on July 21, 2021 at 9:36 pm

Great list of suggestions and overview! Thank you!

  41. The KONT on July 21, 2021 at 9:36 pm

Thumbs up for including Sherlock Holmes Crime & Punishment.

  42. 241ae on July 21, 2021 at 9:36 pm

The Surge 2 is a fantastic game. Even it’s flaws are somehow charming.

  43. Leon Bennett on July 21, 2021 at 9:38 pm

    Derail valley try it

  44. kingkurtzig on July 21, 2021 at 9:39 pm

Dragons Dogma still on my favourites list

  45. Grey Brother on July 21, 2021 at 9:40 pm

Their kind hates ice and fire both!

I really loved DD. Especially when some of the later game spells involved summoning meteorites and tornadoes.

  46. partlycloudy 1942 on July 21, 2021 at 9:41 pm

It’s really not confusing. I’ve always perfectly understood indie, AA or AAA. It’s a pretty simple concept

  47. R M on July 21, 2021 at 9:42 pm

  48. Thanos Fonias on July 21, 2021 at 9:42 pm

Great video, it’s just what I need with sales coming up 😉

  49. PC-98 on July 21, 2021 at 9:45 pm

The Surge would’ve been more popular if the devs copied Bloodborne instead of Dark Souls. Movement and combat should be faster in an exosuit and there are a lot of weapons that look like they could have a cool moveset and a transformation mode but you just use them as baseball bats.
