Check out the Top 10 Best Video Games of 2020!

After careful consideration (very careful given how often it was delayed), we have decided to name “Cyberpunk 2077” as MojoPlays’ 2020 Game of the Year. If you’re curious to see what else made it in our Top 10 Games of 2020, be sure to check that out after the video. For now, let us explain why a last-minute addition managed to steal the spotlight.

HAHAHAHAAHAHAHA CYBERPUNK IS THE BEST GAME OF 2020??? HAHAHAHAAHAHAHA Wow, that was the best joke of the year! A game that is already one of the best examples ever of what a terrible launch is, a game that shows just how greedy companies can be and how moronic hype can be the worst thing ever in the gaming industry, a game that is so full of problems that is unplayable for many people and, overall, a game that is just a normal game and has nothing THAT innovative or revolutionary to be considered the best game of the year! There are a lot of games infinitely more deserving than Cyberpunk but, yeah, go ahead and crown Cyberpunk as the best game of 2020, it’s not like people behind this channel have any notion of what "quality content" is… This channel really reached a new low, for real!

Dry Hump of Us 2 fans: "TLOU2 is better than cyberpunk!"

  3. VigilantKnight005 on December 17, 2020 at 4:48 pm

Your writer needs to be fired for picking this game as your Game of the Year. He doesn’t know what he was talking about. Cyberpunk 2077 was not worth the wait. The first impression is the lasting one. And whatever story you defend is lost in the sea of glitches.

  4. Jayage on December 17, 2020 at 4:49 pm

How you guys going say all that crap about Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. In Then give Cyberpunk 2077 game of the year is this a joke?

The Best "BROKEN" Video Game of 2020

  6. matt fahringer on December 17, 2020 at 4:53 pm

Cyberpunk is not, i repeat is NOT game of the year. the fact MojoPlays is saying that its their choice for GOTY is seriously making loose what little faith i had in this channel

  7. Brock Freeman on December 17, 2020 at 4:53 pm

You guys are idiots for making this game of the year. Its very clear that it is not.

  8. CZERO/FOOL on December 17, 2020 at 4:54 pm

Quick question, when is Witcher 3 vs Cyberpunk 2077?

  9. Jhawk2711 on December 17, 2020 at 4:55 pm

If this were an EA game or a Bethesda game, the game would be absolutely panned by EVERYONE and y’all know it lol

  10. Jason McMurtry on December 17, 2020 at 4:55 pm

Sorry but I can’t agree with this pick due to it having so many issues and basically not working on base PS4& Xbox One. The story is good, and gunplay is decent but no where near as good as Doom Eternal.

  11. Karlo Winffotter on December 17, 2020 at 4:56 pm

I’ve been playing on a Ps4, and yes, it is very buggy and glitchy. But that doesn’t mean it is already a bad game all-in-all. If I remember correctly, The Witcher 3 have a bad start as well and CD Projekt Red worked on those glitches and look where it stands now. It’s now one of, if not, the greatest games of all time. And in my experience, it still has a few bugs but at least they fixed most of them. Thay shows how passionate they are on their crafts.

People just tend to forget what they can do and just drop it. So I trust CD Projekt Red to fix the game. Soon, we might have a better experience.

  12. Alfie on December 17, 2020 at 4:58 pm

I hope it gets patches soon. But for now, I’ll be waiting for the PS5 to be back in stock and play it then. I think they overestimated the PS4 and Xbox ones hardware.

  13. Ebin Delgado on December 17, 2020 at 4:59 pm

I kinda expected this game to be hard to play on normal consoles. That’s why I’m waiting to buy a PS5 or PS5 Pro (if they ever make one) to play it

At least call it – PC Game of the year, otherwise it’s just plain disrespectful to majority of console players. Especially those who can’t even get their refund for this unplayable buggy mess of a game

  16. Titan Pro Gaming on December 17, 2020 at 5:02 pm

    Doom Eternal!,!,,,

  17. Shankly 346 on December 17, 2020 at 5:03 pm

Must have played a different game to me. The world feels so empty and lifeless, just because it looks good doesn’t make it immersive. The police AI is completely fucked. NPCs just stand around and do nothing. All you did in this video was quote marketing from CDPR, complete bollocks

  18. Bryce Jackson on December 17, 2020 at 5:05 pm

WatchMojo: Miles Morales is such a downgrade on PS4. Passing grade but not exceptional

Also WM: Cyberpunk barely runs on PS4 and XBO and crashes on every platform.

    How Sway?

  19. Commander Shepard on December 17, 2020 at 5:11 pm

Cyberpunk 2077 doesn’t feel right it feels like it’s missing something like a 3rd person option

  20. Daniel Battle on December 17, 2020 at 5:11 pm

The best things about this game are the characters and the cyberware, which created unique character customization. But cyberpunk fell shot of the many promises made by CDPR. I wouldn’t be as critical except CDPR promised multiple times.

  21. Kevin on December 17, 2020 at 5:12 pm

I’m not touching this game until I get a next gen console lol

  22. Tevya Smolka on December 17, 2020 at 5:13 pm

I am just annoyed is console players got screwed over because this game looked great on pc but runs terribly on ps4 which is weird to me became the ps4 should be able to run this game great but it doesn’t which sucks.

  23. zashadow131990 on December 17, 2020 at 5:13 pm

I will wait at least 6 months before playing. I am also waiting for wasteland 3 at least 2 more patches down the line

  24. Moshe on December 17, 2020 at 5:13 pm

Did u clowns even play cyberpunk? How game of the year it’s a broken mess some pple are just so fake and biased. If it was made by EA or Ubisoft as is it wouldn’t make the list

  25. WhineyBoi on December 17, 2020 at 5:14 pm

People need to stop saying that there’s going to be multiplayer "mode", most people expect fallout 76 or gta online but in reality, it’s a different game based on the cyberpunk universe.

  26. Philipp Pilgrim on December 17, 2020 at 5:16 pm

    Well it is the best game,if you have a 7000 $ PC…yeah

  27. xAnarchRadiostar on December 17, 2020 at 5:18 pm

I feel like Cyberpunk 2077 should be the game of 2021 (since it came out very late in December) but this is a badass game indeed. I’m on the base PS4, and it functions better than what most people have been encountering? I still have a good bit of bugs, such as infinitely clipping under the world.

But the story and the world (when it’s not buggy) is AMAZING and heres to the next couple months of game changing patches that will make the game memorable for years to come!

  29. Long_Shot 47 on December 17, 2020 at 5:22 pm

    I love this game

  30. Adam Shaw on December 17, 2020 at 5:23 pm

This must be "game of the year with most potential". There’s no way a broken game can be better than any game that runs properly. It’s not just the bugs, it’s also the fact the developers straight up lied about features. Shame on you, watchmojo

  31. Mahmudur Rahman on December 17, 2020 at 5:25 pm

Game of the war is cyberpunk by far

  32. TheMagician on December 17, 2020 at 5:25 pm

    Embarrassing decision

  33. Kevin Bourke on December 17, 2020 at 5:26 pm

    They will fixed the game

  34. gfear24 on December 17, 2020 at 5:26 pm

So, let me get this shit straight. Ty, who cried like a little bitch at how Spiderman: Miles Morales played on PS4 is praising how a completely broken fucking game, Cyberpunk 2077, is playing on PS4? And you morons want us to take anything he says seriously? Not only should it not be close to #1 on the GOTY list. It’s shouldn’t have even qualified as a fucking honorable mention the game is so unplayable.

  35. Tim C on December 17, 2020 at 5:31 pm

What the fuck is this? Are you trying to speak ironically or something? IGN, king of boringly useless vanilla generic reviews actually called this game BAD….so we know that its TRULY bad then.

  36. Miguel González on December 17, 2020 at 5:31 pm

    There’s your dislike, bai!

  37. Daniel Battle on December 17, 2020 at 5:33 pm

Bethesda pass??? We really need to stop normalizing exceptional companies putting out products that don’t work only to add updates within the next few months.

  38. B Black on December 17, 2020 at 5:34 pm

You should put this on your high rated games lists AFTER the bugs are patched and works on ps4 and xbox. Or a best PV games list. There are SO many games that were as good if not better that didn’t have the same bug fest as Cyber punk when it launched that should be getting more of your attention

  39. Peter Thomas on December 17, 2020 at 5:37 pm

This is laughable.. no matter how much people enjoy the game. Is is, by admission of the publisher, a broken mess on most of the platforms it is sold on. The publisher tried to hide this by only allowing b-roll footage to acompany the reviews and worse didn’t let reviewers test tue console versions.
With that in mind: you are basically condoning these practices.
That being said it has several other gameplay issues and design choices which, I feel, disqualify it from being game of the year.

  40. Arsene Lupin on December 17, 2020 at 5:37 pm

Unpolished Game of the Year, so is this a new trend now? 🤷🏼‍♂️

  41. Kashi Soul on December 17, 2020 at 5:38 pm

Cyberpunk is only a shitty game for people that dont have a PS5 or High end PC and if you are experiencing performance issues on PS4 NOT MY FUCKING PROBLEM

  42. Frederick Kruger on December 17, 2020 at 5:38 pm

I’ve been playing Cyberpunk on PS5 and even with the constant crashes I gotta give it my GOTY.

  43. Ibrahim Mendez on December 17, 2020 at 5:39 pm

I disagree with you on that piece of trash, dumpster fire: cyberpunk 2077

  44. Diz on December 17, 2020 at 5:39 pm

Game of the year??? Bruh. I don’t think we’re playing the same game .

  45. TheUltimateBeing01 Presents on December 17, 2020 at 5:39 pm

Really? A buggy mess is your game of the year?

Not Spiderman Miles Morales or anything that runs better than it, which is damn near the entire Playstation and Xbox library?

    Paid shills.

    MojoShills should be your name.

  46. Emperor DarK on December 17, 2020 at 5:44 pm

I swear if i see the last of us 2, I’m going to "oof" myself in a mountain cliff.

  47. Hernán Martinez on December 17, 2020 at 5:45 pm

And you say it without blushing. Cheers.

  48. Gabriel on December 17, 2020 at 5:45 pm

    Rushed decision…

  49. hbkrvd316 on December 17, 2020 at 5:47 pm

Sorry Watchmojo No.1 should’ve been Ghost of Tsushima. Cyberpunk fell off the map from their disastrous launch.

  50. Black Superman on December 17, 2020 at 5:47 pm

    A True Masterpiece.
