I got my 5950x, and Asus ROG Strix 3090 build within 12 working days from PC Specialist. Sod waiting! 🤣 (and yes, I could have built my own, and no, it wasn’t a huge price hike)

The hp pavilion gaming desktop in my opinion the best affordable pre build pc and you can purchase it at Walmart. I bought one for my girlfriend and she can run WarZone at about 80 FPS. Pretty good bc it only cost me $650. Add another stick of Ram and you have yourself a solid starter gaming PCs

cyberpower and ibuypower were recently reviewed by many youtubers, actually hands on, and they were dumpster fires
ibuypower literally says on it’s cases "all components tested individually, not as a complete system after being built" or something like that
it’s basically just parts shoved together and not tested after
there were loose parts, didn’t boot, etc for many different reviewers
nzxt i wouldn’t trust them as far as i can throw them currently after their shorting/fire disaster recently too
    super shady

  33. lm Uniqify on October 24, 2021 at 10:07 am

Do cpus automatically over clock with a b550?

  34. JaybayJay on October 24, 2021 at 10:09 am

I almost went with a pre build and I was talking with the Computer shop my brother used to work at they we’ve both used for the longest time. We were talking about being able to rip a 3070 out of $2k build and put it in the $3k build I want. Well, luckily, I was on the phone with one of the main tech’s and service installers and after having a great conversation about the build he must’ve liked me and found me a 3070 Strix from a build that was never finished. The customer ordered a custom pc build and lucky for me, didn’t pick it up. So, I’m paying a little more for the GPU but given that the build with the 5900x would be pretty much useless without the GPU right? It’s been 10 years since I last built a build. So there is some wriggle room with stores and if they like you.

  35. Split10 on October 24, 2021 at 10:10 am

I just priced one of the Ebuyer systems up, and without the graphics card I got to around £1150, so that means you’re paying £750 for a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070.
People are paying more than £750 for the 3070 on Ebay, so I guess the Ebuyer AlphaSync isn’t a bad deal.

  36. The Forgotten Era on October 24, 2021 at 10:11 am

£660 pounds sterling is not 700 usd it’s closer to 900

  48. InFiniTe_ShoT _ on October 24, 2021 at 10:25 am

Im thinking of buying a pre built and then upgrading it down the road because I want a pc right now but parts are so expensive. Should I buy the pre built or is it not a good idea? I don’t really know much about PCs I have been a console player my whole life and my ps5 is great and all and I’m happy I was able to get one but I’ve had it for like 6 months now and I really want to get into pc gaming since I got friends that are on pc.

  49. qtkevin on October 24, 2021 at 10:28 am
