Based on your review (and by others), I bought a 77" Sony A9G as a Black Friday special (although it’s still on sale). I decided on it over the LG CX, because I’m not a gamer, and I thought it would suit my viewing tastes better. I didn’t get the A8H because it’s not available in 77". Panasonic is not available here. This A9G is to replace my 60" 2008 Pioneer Kuro plasma, which still works fine, btw; I just got tired of waiting for it to fail, and I’m not getting any younger.

Picking my 55" LG CX on a few hours and words can’t describe how excited I am.
Thanks Vincent for all the vids that led me to the final decision.
Too bad no PS5 was delivered tho, because $#@* them scalpers !
The Xbox one X will do for now.

  15. MadFinnTech on December 21, 2020 at 7:52 pm

Too bad there are fewer and fewer retailers all the time where to buy Panasonic OLED TVs. What are they doing? If I’m not mistaken only one specialty AV shop sells Panasonic OLEDs in very limited quantities in my country. WTF?

  20. Adam Cunliffe on December 21, 2020 at 7:59 pm

I bought the 65" Q90T a week ago because I wanted to avoid the "burn-in heartache", as Vincent puts it. I’ve dealt instead with auto-dimming bugs, weird brightness fluctuations and the screen cutting out completely. I wish more of these TV reviewers emphasized the crazy number of complaints being leveraged at Samsung over this buggy $2,800 mess.

  21. Daniel 189 on December 21, 2020 at 8:00 pm

I’m looking at the Sony xh9005 but am worried about the fact it still hadn’t had the vrr, allm update as of yet.

  22. Dominik Zemp on December 21, 2020 at 8:00 pm

With the Samsung Q90T on sale this week (e.g. the 65 inches for GBP 1069.69 instead of GBP 1563.78), would you still await for the release of 2021 gaming TVs? Just have a Series X, so don’t need more than 1 HDMI 2.1 port… but what’s about the known VRR issue with the 2020 TVs?

Hi Vincent I wanted to know if you could perhaps look at the problem that most Samsung’s are suffering from now after the last update ! After firmware update 1403 the local dimming on the Samsung qled series especially mine the q95t has some silly problem . The settings on the local dimming is low, standard and high . The setting on standard is better than high which makes no sense because high is supposed to be better but the big issue is after about 8 minutes of watching a movie the brightness just drops by itself without me doing anything . So I have to go back in settings every time just to make it keep its brightness . Can you please see if other people with a Samsung QLed t series tv is also experiencing the same problem as I am and if so would it be possible to reach out to Samsung to tell them about the Issue. Thanks Vincent I love your videos and you are hilarious !πŸ€—

  29. Frederico Hernandez on December 21, 2020 at 8:04 pm

When is Sony expecting to release their 2021 lineup? Hopefully with HDMI 2.1 across more models!

  30. Robotrik1 on December 21, 2020 at 8:06 pm

Good video, but sadly only on the last (and most expensive) Panasonic you got to see some football , while the rest just showcased the usual "show room" crap that doesn’t tell you anything about the actual day to day function .

    Which mask is Vincent wearing?

  33. weissachpassion on December 21, 2020 at 8:11 pm

I am deciding between the Samsung Frame 75 and the LG GX65.
We have a more open living room, meaning that the main seating position is around 4-4.5m away and the closest is maybe 2,5m away from the TV. I could go a bit closer, but not much.
My budget won’t allow a 77LG GX sadly.

    What would you guys recommend?

  34. IronDenni on December 21, 2020 at 8:11 pm

Its Oled or Oled ! LG GX is my TV and i love it.

If you can get a cx going for it !
The BX in my Country is now under 1000€ for 55β€œ and for 1500€ 65β€œ

And to the burn in by Qled Q90/95 its possible we have a burn in in our Shop at Work.
But we dont have a LG Oled Burn in .. mhh ironic

  36. TOP BANANA on December 21, 2020 at 8:15 pm

I cant decide. In my budget i could ether get the 65" Q70t 65"Q80t or a 55"Q90t im pretty sure all 3 have hdmi 2.1 and will work great with the new consoles.

    I’m planning to purchase a Sony XBR85X900h to upgrade a Samsung UN65KS8000FXZA.
How much of a difference should I expect in quality? Is the difference worth the upgrade or should I get a different tv?

Thanks in advance for any help

Image retention is a thing on Samsung, my buddy just had an issue with a Q90T after 20 days of use.

  40. I on December 21, 2020 at 8:19 pm

the type of mask you wear has a vent, meaning you protect yourself with it but not really the people around you since aerosols freely pass through the vent πŸ˜‰

  41. Tom B on December 21, 2020 at 8:22 pm

WHY can’t I get the Panasonic HZ2000 Oled here in NY? Or any Panasonic Oled here?

  42. Dallas Dal on December 21, 2020 at 8:22 pm

You are Not going to get an honest un biased review from a member of the sales staff, they will be pushing whatever TV their manager says is the TV of the day to promote.
It’s like saying Phillip Morris will be honest on the health risks of cigarettes or the wine industry telling you that wine is good for you.

  43. D M on December 21, 2020 at 8:23 pm

Holy shit, it’s bad enough trying to understand you without a mask. And with one on…wow.

  44. Gavin on December 21, 2020 at 8:24 pm

Would like to watch but you are going woke, so go broke. Take off the mask

  45. Henri Que on December 21, 2020 at 8:26 pm

FYI….for future reference, wearing a mask is not necessary when you’re alone in front of a camera talking when nobody is beside you. It only distracts the viewers with the muffled words. Accent or not! Its hard to follow and understand.
