LG C1 is perfect and A80J by comparison are about the same but notable mention is Samsung QN90A this TV is a beast and is even with the LG C1 if you want something that’s not OLED with higher peak brightness the colours are unmatched.

No one is mentioning how much energy OLED panels are consuming, this is something which needs to be addressed in the nearest future.

  27. Pdubz21 on October 24, 2021 at 11:34 am

$700-$1000 been waiting to see what Black Friday & or cyber deals is in the pipeline for my PS5. Didn’t want to upgrade until this year because there’d be more options.

  28. Sean Schroeder on October 24, 2021 at 11:36 am

Change the title! PS5 and Xbox Series is no longer “next-gen!”

  32. James Mason on October 24, 2021 at 11:41 am

I’ve got a 55" LG C7 in 2017 November and still absolutely love it. Works great with my PS5 and XSX, Netflix app, etc. I’ve been waiting for new tech in the LG C-series that would warrant an upgrade because I’d be willing to buy a new one in the next year or so.

  33. Freiteez on October 24, 2021 at 11:41 am

  38. SneakGeeks 49 on October 24, 2021 at 11:49 am

Just bought the 65 inch C1

  39. JRod Gospel on October 24, 2021 at 11:49 am

That’s going to be my next tv OLED C1!

  40. bluebox on October 24, 2021 at 11:50 am

The cheaper LG B series is also great. There aren’t a lot of reasons to get the C series over the B series

  41. Sean Jackson on October 24, 2021 at 11:51 am

    Slow news week.

  42. themysterykid1 on October 24, 2021 at 11:51 am

    LG C1!

  43. Courtland Hughes on October 24, 2021 at 11:53 am

    If only PS5 supported VRR

  44. EJS on October 24, 2021 at 11:54 am

You need the best TV for Xbox Series X, it is the most powerful machine, Dolby Atmos/Vision and VRR. PS5 is a mediocre console with less power, No VRR, No Dolby atmos nor Vision. Any cheap TV from Walmart would do for that thing.

  45. DillKillTv on October 24, 2021 at 11:54 am

    LG nanocell

  46. Arthur R on October 24, 2021 at 11:54 am

Sony X90j for all ps5 users. Affordable and amazing picture and colors. Not OLED so no risk for burn in and "perfect for ps5"

  47. David Luong on October 24, 2021 at 11:54 am

A tv to seriously worth considering – Hisense H9G(Q9G in America)

Relatively affordable, 4K QLED, native 120hz panel, but most importantly – can display both HDR10+ AND DOLBY VISION.

    Downsides
    – no HDMI 2.1 (needed for 8K)
    – android TV can lag the TV (have to restart or unplug the TV to get it back to normal)

Can get a pretty sick deal during the holidays – copped it with a sound bar for around $1100 CDN.

  48. Matthew Parrish on October 24, 2021 at 11:56 am

LG C1 OLED is the only tv that matters. Anything else is missing something.

  49. RARE 720 on October 24, 2021 at 11:57 am

Would you guys recommend the LG Nano Cells with the 2.1 HDMI, there usually just under 1k, id really like to stay in that price range.. 🤔

  50. CheapestGamer on October 24, 2021 at 11:58 am

If you can swing it, get it the LG C1. The LG C1 has four HDMI 2.1 ports with Auto Low Latency Mode, VRR, 4K/120hz, and Dolby Vision 4K/120hz support. The CX has those features as well. The Sony (A80J/A90J) has two HDMI 2.1 ports. VRR isn’t available yet. One of the HDMI 2.1 ports is your eARC port so if you use external speakers, you’re down to one HDMI 2.1 port. You also can’t do 4K/120hz and Dolby Vision at the same time. It’s one or the other. You’ll have to buy an expensive 2.1 receiver or HDMI 2.2 splitter if you have more HDMI 2.1 devices. Happy Gaming!
