The Best Movies And TV Shows To Watch On Netflix In January 2021

It’s almost a new year, and as it does every month, Netflix is celebrating impending newness with a slew of fresh releases. From new hits to classic Scorsese mob films, here are the releases you definitely won’t want to miss on Netflix in January 2021.

If you’re someone who can’t get enough of Netflix’s original movies, you’ll be delighted to hear that the streamer has a solid selection of new projects set to kick off 2021.

Fans of fairy tales looking for a new take on an old classic will definitely want to check out Charming, an irreverent animated flick that forces Prince Charming to seek out his one true love, rather than the other way around; the film drops on January 8. Then, on January 15, you’ll want to catch Outside the Wire, which features Marvel Cinematic Universe favorite Anthony Mackie and Damson Idris as a droid officer and drone pilot that team up in a futuristic military zone.

Together, the two must find a doomsday device before it’s too late. On January 27, don’t miss Penguin Bloom, which stars Naomi Watts, Andrew Lincoln, and Jacki Weaver as a family struck by tragedy. Their lives are turned around by a tiny injured bird named Penguin.

One thing for sure in July they should have the 1993 movie Gettysburg on Netflix because it’s an awesome movie and it’s my all time favorite movie and the movie features a wide variety of cast including the deceased Richard Jordan as Lewis Addison Armistead ,Martin Sheen as Robert Edward Lee , Tom Berenger as James Longstreet, Sam Eliot as John Buford, Stephen Lang as general Pickett, C Thomas Howell as Thomas Chamberlain, George Lazenby as general Johnston Pettigrew, Maxwell Caulfield as colonel Strong Vincent, Donal Louge as captain Ellis Spear and the great actor Jeff Daniels as the Heroic Colonel Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain

First take away all the stuff you’ve already seen, then take away all the sequels and new series of stuff you’ve seen and didn’t like, then take away all the stuff you find age inappropriate, then sift the leftovers in the vain hope you might find a gem, sit through the most likely, then sigh to yourself as your inner critic whispers "I told you so" before repeating the whole process on other platforms. Are my expectations too high I wonder?

Bridgerton is based on multiple books written by the author Julia Quinn. The Bridgerton family are prolific and the center of London society and a bevy of Jane Austen inspired romances during the Regency era. I don’t know who it is you referred to, an actor or director, but the work belongs to the author.
