Dude what’s up with the 2021 85 inch QN85A SAMSUNG NEO QLED 4K tv? It’s a VA PANEL with 1320 Dimming Zones and the Customer Reviews are 5 Stars all over the place… there seems to be something SPECIAL about this TV…. REVIEW IT…. Spread the word and love the channel!

  2. Derek Langston on July 11, 2021 at 9:10 pm

I think I’m gonna try to snag a CX on Black Friday this year. Maybe if the C1 gets discounted enough, I’ll go with it instead. Any advice?

  3. Stefan Gatt on July 11, 2021 at 9:12 pm

    Hello 8K I’m I a joke to you!? 😅

  4. G W on July 11, 2021 at 9:12 pm

Think it’s worth considering that at the current time (July 21), PS5/XSX games are running at the highest resolutions and frame-rates they will ever run at. As time goes on, and the PS4/XO stop being supported, you will see resolution and frame-rate sacrificed for other visual improvements. 120hz support isn’t necessary and I’m speaking as a CX owner. Sadly VRR is probably worth it/essential as I’m not seeing developers getting any better at optimising and removing frame drops.

how much does the input lag increase on the LG 8k NANO? I had a Samsung 8k and although it was nice to play some older games at that res the input went to about 40ms when using the HDMI 2.1 8k input.

  6. Lucky Borgens on July 11, 2021 at 9:14 pm

  9. GeorgieBB on July 11, 2021 at 9:18 pm

I got the Lg Nano cell not as good but it has all the essentials for a gaming tv except the oled

  10. Andres Fontiveros on July 11, 2021 at 9:19 pm

If you wanna risk the burnout… (counting you are a hardcore gaming that play lot of high burn out risk games) i would not pick this one.. better options out there.

  12. Jeffrey Abbey on July 11, 2021 at 9:21 pm

I was so excited that you put out this video because I’m looking for the perfect gaming TV! THEN you said 0LED. Audible sigh. I have an LG OLED with severe burns. Every day the Burns get worse. OLEDs are horrible for gaming. Pretty, crisp and colorful at first, but then the OLED will burn. From the moment you turn on that OLED it is dying, quickly. If I had the money to buy a new OLED every two years then yes this would be perfect for gamers. Thank you for your video. I appreciate you searching for the perfect TV for us. Would you please recommend a QLED for gamers? I would be so very much obliged.

  15. Ghost Deini on July 11, 2021 at 9:23 pm

I have a Samsung 75 inch Q80T 4K UHD tizen tv and a Samsung 4K 55 inch with hdr that i game on

5:31 who else caught that screen tear🌝

  17. Hank Lin on July 11, 2021 at 9:25 pm

I would think GIGAbyte Byte AORUS FV43U 43" QLED UHD 4K is better, $1K, 120Hz, 1000 nits hdr, x HDMI 2.1, quantom dot

  18. Allen Berry on July 11, 2021 at 9:28 pm

That intro on what my TV needs for gaming absolutely narrows down my search TREMENDOUSLY

  19. Simon Richardson on July 11, 2021 at 9:30 pm

I’m looking to get either the LG C1 or Gx but because of the cost I’m moving towards the C1 as there isn’t really much in it other than the price. I’ve lots of good things from the C1 and with it been cheaper than the Gx. Then I think I’ll be getting that one. But stuck on a sound bar or is it worth saving for the sonos set up like what you’ve got?

  20. Casper0878 on July 11, 2021 at 9:31 pm

Did you have any issues mounting the hue light strip to the back of the tv? I didn’t think it would be possible since it mounts so close to the wall.

I have the Govee hue light strip which has a small camera that needs to be mounted to the top or bottom of the tv.

  25. Mike on July 11, 2021 at 9:38 pm

why aren’t you using the stand with your PS5? your discs and fans are spinning off-axis

  26. a friend on July 11, 2021 at 9:40 pm

I’m still working on my next gaming monitor, preferably 32" over my current 24". Now we’re up to tvs? =).

  27. Rolluxus on July 11, 2021 at 9:40 pm

YEAH YEAH Let me just spend 4k on a tv yeah then THEN buy all the stuff you have in your description YEAH ALL TOGETHER SPENDING 7,793.24$ PLUS PLUS TAX YEAH WOOOOOOO

  28. Kapitan Skarpeta on July 11, 2021 at 9:40 pm

    @The Tech Chap
The TV is NOT worth it… Its a lot cheaper to get LG CX or BX

  29. The Tech Chap on July 11, 2021 at 9:40 pm

Hey Chaps! What TV are you using at the moment?? (Bonus points if it’s super old & rubbish)! 😛

  30. Hamza on July 11, 2021 at 9:40 pm

Bruh the 77 inch LG Oled is almost 5k pounds from Currys UK. That’s as much as some people’s family car.

  31. Sirradez on July 11, 2021 at 9:41 pm

    I’m using the 55" LG G1.
It’s an amazing TV and investment I’ve made. I’ve had my previous TV for 8 years or so, so it was time for an upgrade imo

  32. Luke gorlicki on July 11, 2021 at 9:42 pm

bit off topic but i noticed you’re using the hue play gradient light strip. Have you found a work around to be able to use 120hz and the hue sync box? I’ve been thinking about getting a 2.1 HDMI splitter to run one cable direct to the tv and one to the sync box but not sure if this will work

  33. maddie king on July 11, 2021 at 9:42 pm

    I bought the Samsung QN85A Neo 🎊🎋

  35. Neomis 01 on July 11, 2021 at 9:43 pm

Movies and TV the A90J wins, will be better when it gets a VRR update, (that’s way out)As much as I love my ps5 I wouldn’t do the G1 unless that’s all I used it for, going gaming screen strictly you need a pc monitor anyways, the G sync is only software in LG.

  36. Dephside on July 11, 2021 at 9:44 pm

you want 4k at 120hz oled , gsync , freesync? you also wanna pay 2000$ for a tv?

  37. King James on July 11, 2021 at 9:44 pm

@The Tech Chap What’s the Model Number for the American version of the C1 48 inch you’re talking about in this video?

  38. Marck.Cat on July 11, 2021 at 9:46 pm

C1 does same things and it’s cheaper 🧐

  39. Bryce FRIHA on July 11, 2021 at 9:48 pm

What beast of a gaming TV!
My parents want to change their TV so I find your reviews super helpful these days.
So I can assist them in their choice. (they are not gamers though, of course 😂)

  40. jvrdlc on July 11, 2021 at 9:49 pm

I purchased last year the Sony X90H because of its gaming capabilities over the X95H. But then Sony pulled out the VRR ALLM later on as a cheap move… never going back to them. My 2nd option was the LG CX but it was $500 more expensive and at that point, the Sony would have the same features but not OLED.. I will try to maybe upgrade later next year and this time would be LG since they bring all of the gaming features straight out of the box, while Sony ALWAYS promise you with "future updates" crap

  41. Ghost Deini on July 11, 2021 at 9:52 pm

Are the Sonos compatible with the Samsung sound bar?

  42. Pablitoxyz on July 11, 2021 at 9:53 pm

PS5 won’t be able to do Full 8K graphics. Same as PS4 Pro can almost never display Full 4K without sacrifices.

  43. Zain Uddin on July 11, 2021 at 9:53 pm

Went for the c1 love it also bought 5 years insurance for burn in, 48” in the office for gaming and a 77” inch in the living area for everyone else

  44. Micaiah Johnson on July 11, 2021 at 9:54 pm

    Is this TV flicker free

  45. TAG HERBALS on July 11, 2021 at 9:57 pm

    Garbage video

  47. It's Akile on July 11, 2021 at 10:03 pm

Sony been killing it with Great displays for a while now, still no VRR though so LG CX/C1 the wave

  48. Uchiha Itachi on July 11, 2021 at 10:04 pm

Why tf does this 77 look so small or the same size as my 55 CX in my room lol

  49. Haydn Lawton on July 11, 2021 at 10:07 pm

Just a shame burn in is still a factor for me which is why I’ll never buy an OLED I currently own a Samsung QE55Q9FN had it since sept 2018 and it performs very well minus the colour banding which I didn’t take into consideration at the time, the £1,839 I spent was a lot but for gaming at the time was perfect all I’m waiting for now is Samsung’s micro LED tech to come which for those who don’t know is an inorganic way of lighting pixels so you’ll get the contrast of an OLED but without the risk of burn in

What is the use of ps5 speed for its games .. at the highest speed?
