Should you a buy mid-range 5G phone in 2021? Or just get a 4G phone?

There are way too many mid-range 5G smartphones in the market right now – and there will only be more as the weeks go by.
It’s not “futureproofing” if your smartphone is already obsolete before #5G becomes available.
*This also applies to entry-level 5G phones*

    Nope.

No need. 5G isn’t available yet anyway.

    Maybe in 2 years

Malaysia says they are going to roll out 5G at end of 2021 but they probably won’t. However 5G is coming. I’m going to hang on to my 3G Nokia for now and wait. Thank you for the video.

5g is going to roll out slowly..1~2 years from now. Same with wifi6 routers. Most people will do better to buy a midrange wifi ac router if in need right now and wait until 6a.

Anyway, 4G will be able to use alongside 5G. So I agree that it’s not a rush for time to get the next phone with 5G.

Going to get Samsung galaxy s10 plus. 5g is a joke in the US. 4 LTE still good. 5G seem or sound good because of great marketing by carriers…

If sabah and sarawak slow to get 5G then better stick to 4G for now. Better for me to save for education purposes and food. New phones will drop by then with better specs with fair price. Can you recommend me a phone that can be a daily driver? I will wait for any campaign that lowers their prices. Thanks in advance.

If trying to get flagship variants (QS865 > 70) (including 2020) with a budget of <RM2.5k what should I get? Don’t think 888 is possible at this budget hmmmm
