Hi. How do I get the $25 visible plan?

  2. Carlos Brito on April 27, 2021 at 3:00 am

The best underrated feature on mint is pay for a year option. Pay, forget and don’t worry.

  3. Mike on April 27, 2021 at 3:01 am

What feature(s) prevent Hello Mobile from being part of the discussion? Or do they just have really bad customer service?

  4. jmlinden7 on April 27, 2021 at 3:14 am

AT&T’s rollover is indeed only for one month. Only Tello (with auto-renew off) and Tracfone have unlimited rollover

Also I think you should have included T-Mobile Connect $15 for 2.5GB plan, it has all the features including priority, domestic roaming, etc which makes up for the lower amount of data at the price compared to Mint or US Mobile

  5. Rocky Hills Media on April 27, 2021 at 3:21 am

On my iPhone 8 plus for some reason, I always have issues trying to activate the US Mobile Super LTE sim. GSM sim works fine though.

TBH. US phone plans are very cheap compared to Canadian phone plans. You guys are lucky. The best cheap phone plan in Canada ik rn is 100mins, unlimited texts, 250MB of data. And the data is limited to 3mbps on that plan. No 5G. The best coverage here doesn’t even cover half of the country which is crazy.

I would kill for these phone plans in Canada.

A for Visible from my standpoint – $25/month for unlimited and porting was no issue as soon as I put in chip I was good to go. I think when I begin to travel more I may notice the speeds more (for example Facetime outside in a tourist area) and may switch to a AT&T Prepaid, but really happy with Visible right now!

  9. Brian Kalayanamitr on April 27, 2021 at 3:38 am

Stetson, I switched to Magenta Max on the very first day of this new plan being released since I was using a grandfathered simple choice plan for my lines. I was excited for the 1080p video streaming speeds (rather than 480p on simple choice) since I upgraded to iphone 12pro and use the 5G uncapped data. However, it has been great only the first week, and now I’m watching your video, stuttering and buffering, at 1080p.

Youtube app would default me upon opening a video to either 360 or 480, and when I change the quality to 1080p, it ALWAYS buffer within 10 seconds after clicking that quality change.

If you have any insights as to why this is an issue, please PLEASE let me know. I’ve talked to tmobile reps, and as awesome as they are, they would go through their general troubleshooting protocols i.e. reset network settings, which I had already done so multiple times before calling them.

On Ookla speed test app, I’m getting 400mbps/30mbps, but on FAST app (to test video streaming speeds), the initial speeds were around 30-40mbps upon clicking start, and would revert down to 2-3mbps by the time it finishes.

    PLEASE HELP!!!!

Personal ranking for prepaid for data heavy user is:
Visible – Grade A – High speed high latency

USMobile Unlimited – Grade A – Similar to Visible but MUCH lower latency (40ms vs 140ms). Speeds capped at 10Mbps unless adding feature for a few dollars. 10Mbps is alright. It’s symmetrical for me.

Mint Mobile is a C or low B for me for the capped data and HIGH latency. Not visible high but it’s very noticeable versus a postpaid line on the cheapest plan.

Red pocket is definitely a C grade. It’s not awful but it’s not amazing. They definitely do it all but not best. It really depends how much you spend with them. 20 bucks a month is the most I would consider, after that I would consider USMobile or Visible depending if you need the low latency (for online gaming Us Mobile dumps on Visible easily. Even on the per GB plans their good. Latency is in the realm of USMobile which is basically prepaid service.

I can confirm AT&T on RedPocket has QCI Value 8

You both talk about data and speeds but nothing about perks and who playing who Verizon has speed but no UW coverage and tmobile has coverage but no real 5g speed so tmobile my be on s tier because you loser use them personally but little did you know about they say they work there speed or a lack there of. Coming from tmobile to Verizon thank god I did is a real plus I’ve been with tmobile for 10 years and they treated me was bad so I know what I am talking about with tmobile and they don’t have any real perks wile being with them only Netflix which by the way had to have two lines on the account min requirement to use while Verizon had Disney plus espn and Hulu while having APPLE MUSIC for free with no requirement of lines just the plan. I agree that they are losing on the streaming part but do to COVID i understand it at 720p but I have fios so I don’t care about that so have fun with lame tmobile boys

  17. Paul Baker on April 27, 2021 at 3:51 am

  18. selw0nk on April 27, 2021 at 3:51 am

I can hear Dennis breathing into the microphone throughout the show. Hahaha you guys are so biased on US Mobile because you know the CEO 😂

  19. schnitzer87 on April 27, 2021 at 3:51 am

Correct me if I’m wrong, but all those AT&T prepaid plans do not have 5G access. How can we call them A tier?
