Any update on a gaming monitor for the Xbox series x

  2. Austin Evans on June 13, 2021 at 7:18 pm

Slight correction: at 8:19 when I put them on blast for saying 60Hz that’s actually correct cause I was looking at the 81 series not the 85 series NanoCell 😅

2 stages for next gen gaming.
    1. Getting a ps5
    2. Getting a display that complements it.

My dad has a TV that does HDMI 2.1, HDR, etc. and he’s had that for a few years now so it’s really not that new technology. It was made by the company that makes the PS5 ($0ny)

  8. fiscer247 on June 13, 2021 at 7:24 pm

I bought a LG 4K HDR TV 4 years ago, but my PS5 says my TV doesn’t support HDR.😩

  9. Samuel Rowland on June 13, 2021 at 7:26 pm

I have a series x with a Samsung 7 series 70 inch tv, so unfortunately I can’t get 100% out of the Xbox but oh well.

Was enjoying then you played annoying noises. So ya goodbye.

  23. Rhys Hunt on June 13, 2021 at 7:43 pm

You don’t need a new tv

  24. Andy Love on June 13, 2021 at 7:44 pm

You were looking at the wrong tv on Best Buy, the tv you have is the nano85 which does support 4K 120hz but the one on Best Buy was the nano81 which doesn’t support 4K 120

  25. Xumie _ on June 13, 2021 at 7:44 pm

my dad just bought me the ps5 and u expecting me to get a new tv! i’ll get one next Christmas 😂

  26. KK89 on June 13, 2021 at 7:44 pm

Trying to find a tv for gaming is a nightmare. After you find a model with 120Hz and 4K then what about input lag? And many tv’s have specs all mixed up on different retailers…

  27. boZ Reptiles on June 13, 2021 at 7:45 pm

Lmao 😂 well that’s assuring. I’ve been away for awhile. I see not much has changed in the gaming world.

  28. leroyatleroys on June 13, 2021 at 7:46 pm

Considering that I have not owned anything newer than the Xbox 360(of which I bought WAY after they were obsolete, still enjoy it though.) The Series X is already a massive step up for me, even with my older monitor. I will get a newer(better) TV, eventually. But right now, I just wanna enjoy playing modern games.

  29. Jack Srivarodom on June 13, 2021 at 7:46 pm

Should I get the LG Nano Cell 85 for my Xbox Series X?

  30. CoolUsername on June 13, 2021 at 7:49 pm

This is a scam from LG

  31. Christian GW2 on June 13, 2021 at 7:50 pm

So is this tv capable of ps5 gameplay at 4k 120FPS im confused

  32. Rhys Hunt on June 13, 2021 at 7:51 pm

It doesn’t matter if you you have a hd tv either graphics are graphics

  33. Bill Kitz on June 13, 2021 at 7:52 pm

I put my stuff through my stereo reciever. It has hdmi passthru. Will I be able to get these new standards with only getting a new tv?

  34. Sven Power on June 13, 2021 at 7:55 pm

    Is a monitor good to

  35. JernauGurgeh on June 13, 2021 at 7:59 pm

I bought a 55” similar Nanocell LG 4KTV in early 2019, choosing it for its support for Dolby Vision and Atmos, and its inclusion of Airplay and Apple TV. I read that it was HDMI 2.1 and was forward looking for the potential of new consoles but wasn’t too bothered, as I knew it would work fine with my PS4 Pro. I wasn’t really thinking about a console upgrade as at the time I mostly gamed on PC.

Having then got a cheap Xbox Series S last month, mainly to play Forza 4 and other Microsoft exclusives online with a friend after giving up PC gaming, I was pleased to find out that ALL the options are ticked in the Display Modes settings, and that the TV has 120MHz and VRR (Variable Refresh Rate).

So I decided to just go for it and get an Xbox Series X to take full advantage of my TV and this new generation of consoles.

Just waiting for it to be delivered this morning 🙂

(I would’ve really liked to get a PS5, but they are still so very difficult to get hold of in the UK, unless you want to pay at least double MSRP to a scalper on Ebay)

YouTube videos like this make me and my family more poor than we already are

  37. Victor Galvão on June 13, 2021 at 8:03 pm

non sense. My 3 year old TV is 120 hz native but only 2.0 hdmi and not 2.1 hdmi . So my tv can do 60 FPS and 4 k but can’t do 120 FPS and 4 k . It is a 65 inch panasonic that I love . I will be using my ps5 at 4k 60 FPS and that is more than enough for single player and eventually a multiplayer here and there . 120 FPS is basically needed for fast paced competitive multiplayer .

  38. Qwest Ion E very thing on June 13, 2021 at 8:04 pm

Basically a lot of money for a minor upgrade. Wow these corporations are ruthless

  39. sym on June 13, 2021 at 8:04 pm

    You really don’t though.

  40. Michel Loranger on June 13, 2021 at 8:04 pm

This might be a stupid question but can you plug in a HDMI 2.1 cable into a HDMI 2,0 port?

  41. AnimeEpicAdventure on June 13, 2021 at 8:05 pm

ill get a new tv around christmas i got the xbox series x and im not upset with 4k 6fps because i am so used to playing at 30 fps with my old xbox one x. so its still next gen for me techniaclly 0-0

  43. Rob Cabrera on June 13, 2021 at 8:08 pm

I just bought a PS5, and I want to upgrade my 4k TV to a… 4k TV. I currently have a TCL entry-level 55", and another entry level 65" TCL. Both 4k, both just ok picture quality. And I want to upgrade to a nicer looking display with proper 120Hz support. I just hope GT7 supports 120Hz or everything will be a lost cause…

  44. Skateboard Turtle on June 13, 2021 at 8:09 pm

I can’t believe I was click-baited by a video showing a tv with fucking Saturns rings

  45. insan3 on June 13, 2021 at 8:10 pm

i live in saudi arabia i was gonna get a ps5 america that tv is 600$ in saudi arabia its 5000 riyals like wtf

  46. Rhys Hunt on June 13, 2021 at 8:10 pm

It’s just an option of what graphics you want

  47. mario master on June 13, 2021 at 8:10 pm

So I don’t actually have to upgrade to a new TV to use the PS five. Because I am actually totally blind and so I do things totally based on sound. I don’t care about graphics or anything like that

  48. braden lutz on June 13, 2021 at 8:13 pm

I use the rounded TV with my Xbox Sirius X sorry that I spelled that word wrong but yes I used a rounded TV it worked perfectly fine it was just laggy and glitchy

  49. L. Ace Morris on June 13, 2021 at 8:13 pm
