I got the unlimited 3+3mo deal from the holiday sale and I’m happy to see Mint is already improving. With these new options I may be able to bump down to the 15gig plan by the time I renew.

  2. Crystal Okonkwo on July 6, 2021 at 8:45 pm

I have to wait 23 days before my plan’s data cap increases 😔

Do not switch to this company. One of the worst companies ever. 60+ days no phone or text. First stated my phone was supported then three weeks later after dozens of tech support calls said it wasn’t. Bought a new 5g phone they sell and t-mobile supports same error and issue. Tech support is lie after lie, no escalation, fake escalation cases with no resolution. They convince you to restart to end calls and then when you call back they aren’t available sending you into endless loops of repeating the same information over dozens of times to different people! Boycott Mint Mobile and every Ryan Reynolds movie!

  6. Radius on July 6, 2021 at 8:47 pm

I just bought my 3 month plan, and I’m worried what my ETF from att will be… I own my phone but i literally just got my first bill from att and i just Cant do that lol.

Can you do a video review on Verizon’s new $75 Verizon 5G Ultrawide Band for prepaid customers? Is it a good deal? How does it compare? Thanks!

  8. Urban Moto on July 6, 2021 at 8:49 pm

I watched your videos and decided to give it a try. I bought the 90 day plan and paid $68.25 for the 10gb plan. So I get the kit and find out it says no network connection. Also watched a video on how to configure android phones, because they forgot. So I call and they said they will send out a new sim card. Put that in and during activation, it said it cant be activated for prepaid accounts. They sent the wrong sim card. So I called again and they sent me a 3rd sim card, which I haven’t tried yet. I told the guy I want a refund and he said sorry, it has to be within 7 days. It never worked to begin with. I bought this plan because of your videos so those of you watching, beware this is a rip off company. I want my money back. They also said my phone is not compatible even though their website says it is. Beware.

Mint Mobile customer service is the worst. Save your money and go with T-Mobile!!!

  10. alawabidingcitizen on July 6, 2021 at 8:53 pm

Mint is garbage and not worth it. You could die somewhere and not be able to make a call or send a message, even when you’re in the middle of the city, and have a full tank of high speed quota unused. In other words, even if it’s free it’s not worth the situation when you need it you will not find it.

  11. Andrew Bowden on July 6, 2021 at 8:54 pm

I have had the $15 plan for almost 2 years and I have never ever had one problem. I could not be happier! One of the best decisions I have made! Where’s Ryan at?

  12. Didi Doood on July 6, 2021 at 8:55 pm

i love so much their price n app features!! BUT the coverage isnt as they say not even close!! when i open tmobile, it shows 4g lte but i have 1 bar to none lol

  13. E U on July 6, 2021 at 8:56 pm

I don’t understand the limit streaming speed video on the unlimited plan. WTH!

Can anyone tell me? Do VPN’s give you the ability to get rid of deprioritization on cell plans that utilize deprioritization?

  16. ritual301 on July 6, 2021 at 8:59 pm

Hey man, just wanted to drop a quick line and thank you again for all the info you provide with your content. It truly is valuable. So much so, that I just signed up to Mint Mobile. Just waiting on the SIM card to arrive so I can activate the service to see how well it will fit my needs.

Another reason I wanted to drop a line, and the _whole_ reason I am making the switch over to Mint in the first place, is because of what is happening to quite a few Cricket users getting their accounts suspended for not having an "approved Volte" phone. Not sure if you have heard about what Cricket has been doing, but it stems from the changes that At&t have been doing trying to upgrade their infrastructure to 5G. At&t have given their users until Feb. 2022, to make sure they have a Volte phone. The announcement was said to begin the rollout of the changes on Jan. 19th. This inevitably affects Cricket (and I would assume any other MVNO using At&t infrastructure).
Though, where At&t has given it’s users until 2022 before they take action against accounts, Cricket has already been fully suspending accounts this month. Myself included. And these are people with phones that are 100% Volte compatible (mine is a Oneplus 7 Pro 5G). A lot of users have started to complain, and I thought maybe you might be interesting in being in the loop with what is going on, since this all kind of falls in your area of expertise. Doesn’t seem right what Cricket is doing here, at all. And that’s why I have chosen to give Mint a shot, on your recommendation.
You could find further detail on that matter over on the Cricket subreddit:

Sorry for the long comment. Appreciate everything you do man. Thanks:)

I’m reading people complaining about not getting calls and texts on Mint. I wanted to try it but I’m a bit concerned about that.

  18. Frederick Pearsall on July 6, 2021 at 9:00 pm

So is the price difference in Mint’s plans purely for more data? I don’t see other benefits

  19. homebrewGT on July 6, 2021 at 9:01 pm

I had Mint Mobile but got sick of the DE prioritization and went ahead and got T-Mobile with Magenta Max with 5 lines, it is double but i cancelled my home internet thanks to unlimited data on phone, in the end i save money lol

  20. Alex D on July 6, 2021 at 9:04 pm

When you reload your month duration plan do you have to install another sim card or does it use the origional one ?

I’ve just bought a mint mobile SIM card plan kit but when I insert it says SIM card not supported can anyone help?

  25. Guillermo J on July 6, 2021 at 9:14 pm

I’ve been with Mint Mobile for five months now, their connections are consistent and T-Mobile is strong here where I live. The only area where they suck are their download speeds (it’s a MVNO) and they are piss poorr . Perhaps in a few different areas they slightly improve, but it’s for my second phone which I only use for work and misc. stuff. Because of their inexpensive pricing, it fits my needs as a second line. As my main line oh hell no.

  27. Sam Chu on July 6, 2021 at 9:20 pm

Why in the fuck I want Mint Mobile? They might use the same towers that T-Mobile owns. But, T-Mobile consumers comes first. That’s why I staying with them. 5g speed,Mint Mobile consumers be lucky to see it. I was with Metropcs. They say they have 5g. Half of the time it’s was on 4g lte. T-Mobile is on 5g all day. Plus speed is way quicker. Try downloading apps on Mint. It might take 25 to 30 seconds. While T-Mobile only takes 5 to 10 seconds. And T-Mobile have T-Mobile Tuesday. Where you can save 10cents a gallon on gas. And if you travel a lot. 40percent off on your hotel booking. Test the speed. You’re lucky to get above 40mbps on Mint. I getting 80 to 100mbps on T-Mobile even while congested.

To assess the quality of thoughts of people, don’t listen to their words, but watch their actions In modern times couples are more concerned about loyalty than love If you truly loved this person with all of your heart, there would be no one else. Other men or women would not even exist for you. … You can feel that love, but it does not burn brightly enough. If you cheat on someone, you simply don’t love or respect that person fiercely enough…But i’m in a better place now with my partner since we bought have access to each other’s device and happily now we live our lifes, we are much happy than we used to be earlier all thanks to bush for this great job, my spouse is in ATL right now while on vacation in Bahamas .I’ll guarantee to you message them via

  29. Nameless Vermilion on July 6, 2021 at 9:22 pm

Geez I wish someone just had a prepaid plan with the postpaid performance. I’m willing to spend the amount just don’t know why they need to tie people down for it. Just want pay and receive, simple 🙁

Just switched to Mint yesterday. Liking it so far except it took a while for my new number to transfer over from my previous carrier.

  34. omicron9552 on July 6, 2021 at 9:29 pm

Great video on phone plan comparisons, something that keeps changing all the time. It would be great if you could squeeze in some info on coverage e.g. 5G, coverage improvements, locations, etc. Second, if you could add some info on quality of service.

  35. David on July 6, 2021 at 9:29 pm

Should do a comparison with other mobile carriers like Straight Talk and Verizon. My Verizon plan (includes data and the line) is $60 and I get 5GB data.

  36. Red Canon on July 6, 2021 at 9:30 pm

So If I choose the 4GB plan for 2 lines, is the 4GB data share with two line? Or do I get 8GB for 2 lines?

  37. Ulaiwan Green on July 6, 2021 at 9:30 pm

    Mine this month 🙋 😁 I’m metro T mobile my start 2)16/21 unlimited for a $60.dollars a month 🙋🇺🇸🥰👍👍👏👏👏

  41. 5%LowBattery on July 6, 2021 at 9:33 pm

I have the 8GB $20, it’s affordable but the signal is the same if not worse than the AT&T I left… I’m always in “no connection” where att would be at least 1 bar. I rely on home WiFi through Verizon. When I’m on the road the mint signal is still weak…could be my old 2015 phone and I live in the woods
But I’ll keep it because it’s affordable.

  42. wholeNwon on July 6, 2021 at 9:34 pm

Hi, Took your advice and switched to Tello a few yrs. ago. Zero problems. As you probably know, they will be switching to GSM from CDMA to accommodate the TM-Sprint merger. Any suggestions on a cheap (like $50 or less) used phone that will work? It’s my car’s glovebox emergency phone.

  43. Xavier Salazar on July 6, 2021 at 9:35 pm

Thank you for making this video. I’m really considering switching my AT&T to mint mobile. 126 for two line unlimited data, messages, and call compare to mint plan is a no brainer. Again thank you.

  44. Lucas Smith on July 6, 2021 at 9:35 pm

  48. Vincent D on July 6, 2021 at 9:37 pm

Awesome video! I’m trying to see if I should stay on Tmobile prepaid I’m paying 101 dollars a month. Or bring my 3 lines to Mint Mobile. 2 lines would be unlimited and the 3rd would be the 4gb plan.

  49. Liwi on July 6, 2021 at 9:38 pm
