    If my motherboard says on the box it’s 3rd gen ready(and I haven’t updated it)and I want to upgrade to a 3100, will it recognize it since it’s one of the newer 3rd gen processors?

    Hi, I want to upgrade my pc I have about £1k saved. Any ideas what would be best. I use a 144hz monitor. Here’s my specs:

    you really dont need to use both cpu power connectors. 1 cable is good enough, you only need 2 for when you are doing hectic overclocking or running a seriously powerful cpu
