In 2021 it can be a rough patch knowing which VR headset is the best VR headset of 2021. With so many options ranging from budget to expensive and so many different companies like Oculus and HTC offering such different VR headset experiences it is a confusing matter… especially if you’ve never been into VR before.

Firstly, you gotta break it down into 3 separate categories, that being budget, mid-range and expensive VR headsets. Then you can determine which VR in 2021 is the best one for you. You have choices like the Oculus Quest 2, HTC Vive Cosmos and the Valve Index amongst many other newer models like the HP Reverb G2. VR headsets in 2021are expensive and that’s expected since it’s still relatively new technology, but on the plus side it’s the most advanced it’s ever been and a hell of a lot cheaper than when they first came about. Check more videos for more VR news, you should do plenty of researching before deciding which VR headset is for you…

You say that the index is a no brainer if you have the money. But I’m not so sure. I’ve seen a lot of videos of issues with this headset. Also the fact that you’re still tethered to a cable is kind of a turn off for me. I have played VR cabled and wirelessly (you can play wireless PCVR on the quest two) And it’s a huge difference in immersion when you don’t have to play around a cable. I’ve seen too many videos of broken index controllers and pieces falling off of the headset. Or of moisture getting up underneath the lenses and ruining it. I think the thousand dollar price tag is way too high for a VR headset so limited in what you’re able to do. I feel like really the only upside to the index is the field of view and the knuckles controllers but even then I’m not sure if those are worth the possible issues that you’ll have with the rest of the headset.

Anyone else who was watching the video and while the person in the video was experimenting with the fingers motions, was expecting the guy to use the middle finger.

Just started looking into VR and it all seems underwhelming =/ The Oculus put me off immediately as aparently you must have this linked up to a FB account, which if lost or deleted, renders your hardware useless?

Great comparison! My all time favorite is the Oculus. Can’t wait for companies to release stuff similar to the VR in Ready Player One the movie
