Does wearing a mask while carrying a tv make the mounting process better?

  2. Marc on October 12, 2021 at 9:12 am

Thanks for the info. I was unsure about the ‘mounting dreams’ brand so glad to hear you like them. Question about install….have you ever put a spacer behind a mount on the wall? Meaning the mount that goes directly against the wall, not the TV portion. I’m wanting to bring out the mount from the wall about a 1/4in because of an outlet cover that is in the way and prevents the mount from sitting flush with the wall. I was thinking of putting some 1/4in thick pieces of hardwood in between the mount and the wall. Trying to avoid moving that outlet.

  6. Mark Howe on October 12, 2021 at 9:17 am

Good video, if fixing to Plasterboard/drywall. then try Bullfix Plasterboard Fixings, one fixing can hold a mans weight.

  7. Jaime Ortiz on October 12, 2021 at 9:18 am

I just bought a Sony 65 a80j any recommendations for a low profile tv mount?

  8. J C on October 12, 2021 at 9:20 am

Looking to buy a 75" tv that will sit between built in cabinets. Would like it to extend, tilt and rotate (up to 90* if possible). Which would you do? Sanus?

  10. Umi imU on October 12, 2021 at 9:21 am

Can you please do a video on the best mounts for RV’s? We Rv’ers struggle with not having standard walls and studs are almost impossible to find, especially near where you actually want to have a new Oled tv mounted? Much appreciation for this video!

  11. Tyler on October 12, 2021 at 9:22 am

Any ideas for when a 180 degree swivel is necessary? We can’t fit a couch in front of the TV so ideally it needs to extend far and swivel 180 to face couch that is perpendicular

Hi B – what’s the name of the mount at 2:29 where you say ‘or maybe you’d like to lower the TV over your fireplace’, that mount that moves/cantilevers vertically, please?

  15. Raul Najera on October 12, 2021 at 9:31 am

Great video !! Which would you recommend for a heavier older model ?

  16. Dave Mc on October 12, 2021 at 9:31 am

Hey, you do an excellent detailed conversation about the 65 a90J and the mounting—I purchased an echogear $99 and NOWHERE is the layout height of the mount —-discussed—the height of the mount (relative to the height of the TV) is NEVER discussed and the fact that the TV centerline will be HIGHER that the centerline of the mount—so when you install the mount at 6 feet to the center off the floor–the TV will be 6′-5" off the floor–HIGHER—why doesn’t echoline tell us this???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

  17. sandeep gupta on October 12, 2021 at 9:31 am

    Thoughts on VOGEL’S WALL Mounts?
Are they just Over priced or actually worth the price difference?

  21. Scott Kraft on October 12, 2021 at 9:33 am

If I have 16" studs but I get a vesa mount that can go up to 24" studs, can I shift 8 inches to the left or right? In other words does it have to be centered between the studs?

  22. Deadpool1322 on October 12, 2021 at 9:37 am

My only requirement is to have easy access to the back of the TV it’s so annoying trying to plug something into a TV with a cheap mount

  23. Manon on October 12, 2021 at 9:38 am

Is the Sanus full motion mount flat enough that it looks decent? I don’t want it to look so bulky, but need to have enough of a range and like the tilt option as well. Thx 🙏🏻

  24. Professor Oak on October 12, 2021 at 9:40 am

  27. Shawn Duden on October 12, 2021 at 9:42 am

Any flat style mounts you would recommend for lateral movement left or right? My studs are not center able which would make the tv 15” off left or right.

  28. Hektman on October 12, 2021 at 9:46 am

Great video. Just got an 85” Sony x900h. It’s going over a fireplace. Buying a mount from Costco. Out of the two you show in this video, which one do you recommend?

  29. Monty Bridgman on October 12, 2021 at 9:47 am

I have a 14 inch mantle and only 36 inches from the mantle to the ceiling. Do you know of any pull down brackets that I could use?

  30. G H on October 12, 2021 at 9:51 am

Are there any mounts that not only move in the horizontal plane but also vertical plane? Ie many move in and out from the wall, they can also swivel to face left or right, plus some also tilt down. But I can’t find one that also shifts downwards so that it sits lower relative to the mount. Are there any?

  31. D_ Dub on October 12, 2021 at 9:54 am

Great video Bro! I have a 75" TCL I want to mount above a fireplace on an angled wall I’m concerned about 1. heat from the fire place, and 2. How high would I place it with out taking away a comfortable view from the sofa I have used mounting dream in the past for a 55" TV in my bedroom I’d like full motion for the 75" what’s your suggestion?

  33. bass 1776 on October 12, 2021 at 9:56 am

Not gonna lie I bought the Armstrong full motion mount because it was cheap and on sale. Put it in my studs but used my own Lag bolts with shoulders. I did 3 pull ups on the arms and it didn’t even budge. Super impressed.

  34. Youthman on October 12, 2021 at 9:56 am

Exactly what I needed Brandon. Using your link to purchase the MD2380 for a 55" Furrion Full Shade outdoor TV that is 60lbs. Should work out great. Thanks again for the awesome content you provide.

  35. Mark Howe on October 12, 2021 at 9:57 am

Bullfix Plasterboard fixings will hold TV brackets, Radiators and Shelves .

  38. Chris Rizzo on October 12, 2021 at 10:01 am

Excellent video. What mount would you recommend for my pioneer pro elite 151FD? It’s a 60 inch screen. Looks like vesa pattern is 850 x 500. Thx a bunch!

Which TV Make and Model is this?

  41. Cy Young on October 12, 2021 at 10:03 am

Thanks because I literally had the Sanus in my cart at Costco last night and put it back, but now thanks to your video I’m going back to purchase.

  42. Chad Bell on October 12, 2021 at 10:03 am

We have the Mantel Mount and it is a great option. We find ourselves pulling the TV down most night as it gives a better viewing angle. It might not be for everyone but it really fits our space and how we like to watch TV. It can be pricy but worth a shot if you like the look of a mounted TV with the option of near eye level viewing.

  43. Robert Curzon on October 12, 2021 at 10:04 am

Your videos made is so easy to understand the installation and all measurements necessary to get this right the first time! Thanks so much!!! I finally entered the world of OLED! Our home is a designer’s nightmare and we can only put our new 55" TV in a corner. Bought the Costco mount your recommended only to find out 38 inches of sheetrock has one stud 16" from the corner. There’s a door frame at 38 inches with NO studs – only the trim. I need to find a mount that will work so we can extend the TV out from that wall and pivot the TV so it can be seen from from the the rest of the room. I might go to a 65" TV, so the bracket really should hit the corner stud and one at 16".

  44. Jonathan Montes on October 12, 2021 at 10:04 am

What TV Mount is best for a Roku TV?

  45. Chris 5k on October 12, 2021 at 10:05 am

"4 feet over your fire place"? Which says 3 feet is too close.

  46. Doug West on October 12, 2021 at 10:05 am

Thanks for great video! One question that I can’t find an answer to is whether the mount allows you to move the tv left or right along the wall? Would the Echogear be a good choice? When I put the Christmas tree up for one month out of the year, I move my tv about 2 feet to the right along the wall sitting on a cabinet. Thanks!

  47. April Brown on October 12, 2021 at 10:06 am

Great video! I have a LG OLED GX 65 in my best buy cart as we speak. It’s the lowest price it’s ever been since the new "A1" series dropped. I’m currently over thinking my DREAM purchase which brought me to your videos. What’s the best mount for over my fireplace? I may make the MantelMount splurge or go with the COSTCO Sanus as it’s currently on sale at my local COSTCO. The pressure…the decisions! Now, I’m about to go into a worm-whole of B The Installer videos. HAHA!

  48. Besticando Golf on October 12, 2021 at 10:06 am

Me watching this on my 65" LG C1 hanging on an 8 year old Monoprice slim mount; "Huh, interesting."

  49. Nicky Barker on October 12, 2021 at 10:07 am

Hi B. Liking your video, but it doesn’t cover what I’m looking for. I’m hoping you could give me some advice on a really good quality pedestal Mount that would be good for a Sony A90J or the LG G1 65 to 75 inch as the mounts that come with those TV’s are just no good for my AV unit.

  50. Donald Moore on October 12, 2021 at 10:07 am

OH MAN!!! You may have just saved me pulling my hair out. We are building a new home after 8 years living in a motorhome touring America. Between this video and a couple other videos on running wires up a wall I can see it would be rather stupid on my part to try to predict where we would wall mount new TVs. Instead of predicting locations and having the builder set power/data boxes we plan to leave the power and data boxes down low (traditional) and then once we buy TVs and wall mounts we can do the work to run wires to these exact locations. THANKS!!!
