Nice TCL ad. How much they paid you?

Hi I have a question off topic do you have any problems with youtube lately? it"s stopping and searching and the picture is very blurry and it takes up 5 minutes to focus fully.

    Hisense H9G says hi!

  6. greysymphonyearth on April 12, 2021 at 1:59 am

Nice TV but I’d take a hisense H9G over this. This one has black crush issues and I prefer Google TV over Roku.

Couldn’t release this video before Black Friday, could ya?

  9. Matt Lemmon on April 12, 2021 at 2:02 am

Cnet, take 10 minutes of your time and watch Linus Tech Tips so that you can see how to create a proper product review. This video is nearly as bad as Dennis’ driving.

    I have two 2019 TCLs 6series 55" 55r625 & 4series 50" 50s425 and they both have ran flawless, I’m very happy with em and now I want the 2020 6series 65".

  13. B Vedant on April 12, 2021 at 2:08 am

If only this TV was available at Costco. Their free warranties / returns are crazy good

  14. Juan Mm on April 12, 2021 at 2:08 am

Haven’t a tv better than my 2016 Sony 930e; built like a tank

  15. hudson berry on April 12, 2021 at 2:09 am

If you are playing on console there is no point in worrying about hdmi 2.1 when barely any games will be able to run that this generation

  16. Steve Smith on April 12, 2021 at 2:11 am

I wouldn’t buy a TCL or Hisense to save my soul!!! You guys at Cnet never even reviewed the Sony 950H. What a shame because its an awesome tv.

  21. Dave Z on April 12, 2021 at 2:16 am

I just helped a friend purchase a Roku TV yesterday. We were surprised and disappointed that the remote does not have a numeric key pad. Personally I have owned and used a Roku device and love it. But for the broadcast stations, I like being able to punch n the channel I want to see.

If here are not remotes with numeric inputs for Roku tv’s why do they have a channel # next to the channel/app in the lists? It is a HUGE disadvantage in my book not being able to go to a channel by number. So much so, when I need my next TV, I hope I can still by a non-smart tv and just use my separate Roku device.

  22. Don Bohn on April 12, 2021 at 2:17 am

  25. Nomad Mongols on April 12, 2021 at 2:19 am

TCL is a Chinese company I have major doubts about privacy. What are the 2nd runners or non-Chinese owned TVs are there worth my buck?

  26. THATMOFODIRT on April 12, 2021 at 2:21 am

The best tv is the one you already have. Stop buying things bc it’s new.

  30. FromMyMind on April 12, 2021 at 2:25 am

DO NOT touch TCL. My screen failed after 2.5 years and they can’t stand by their product enough to offer a suggestive fix.

  31. Ron Jeremy on April 12, 2021 at 2:26 am

I cannot sync my phone to the TV to make it a remote.
I downloaded the program & input the IP address exactly how it reads from the TV & it doesn’t sync.

    HELP🤦🤦🤦

  32. Graham Quigley on April 12, 2021 at 2:29 am

  33. Brandon K on April 12, 2021 at 2:32 am

Watched this twice because I thought I overlooked him saying the price. I was wrong the man never tells the price of this "affordable, unbeatable value"

  36. REIGN on April 12, 2021 at 2:35 am

I honestly do not think anyone should buy th tcl, even for the money! Save up a bit extra, and buy the lg bx, or a sony a9 or a8 series. I have had bad experiences with both Tcl and hisense. And strongly believe you will be happier with the sony or lg. If those oleds are too oricey. There is only 1 tv that rules them all, *for the price* the sony 950h. Google it! And! If you can find one. And u do buy it, please come back and let me know how happy you are 😁👍🏻 p.s i aint a sony pony, or lg fanboy. But, before i bought tv, i really wanted a tv. And these tvs all ticked the boxes, hdmi 2.1, 4k hdr, and have extremely good support even till the time of writing this in december 2020

  37. obxboyoo on April 12, 2021 at 2:35 am

If only they had them in stock!!!!

  38. Kringle on April 12, 2021 at 2:35 am

I just got a 49” (43.5” actual screen width) LG Nanocell 85 at Best Buy for $499.99 just a few days ago in store.
4k @120Hz. Online, it still show $599.99, but in the store i went to, it was $100 off so I guess it just hasn’t been updated online. Thankfully, Best Buy price matches. Can’t wait for it to come in!

  39. Mikel Tan on April 12, 2021 at 2:36 am

I’m not a TV snob anymore (I thought I needed a samsung or LG which I used to have). I realized I just need something sharp enough to stream. I have 3 TCL’s in the house. I love them all.

  40. Miguel Ircontar on April 12, 2021 at 2:37 am

Love my TCL 60 inch best purchase ever made

  41. Derrick McFall on April 12, 2021 at 2:38 am

I have two roku tvs. A 6 and a 5 series. The interface is just too slow. It takes like 5 seconds to change inputs and there’s no button to just switch inputs you have to press the home button and wait for everything to load before you can switch. It kinda sucks.

  42. Abdul Muhaymin on April 12, 2021 at 2:43 am

Can you do a list of TV’s with HDMI 2.1 please

  43. Blender Study on April 12, 2021 at 2:45 am

Bought about 5 LCD/LED TVs so far. I only buy the cheapest ones available, and 3 of them died. Two of them had the faulty backlight issue, and couldn’t use them anymore unless I replace the backlight LEDs that cost as much as a new TV. In the future, I’ll buy Samsung or LG, because I heard they make the best TVs.

  44. Steven Aziz on April 12, 2021 at 2:47 am

Airplay in a TCL? Since when?

  45. Evil Genius on April 12, 2021 at 2:50 am

My order for this TV is on day 21 of “Backorder” status. Can’t wait to get it!

  46. Phrancis5 on April 12, 2021 at 2:50 am

Just bought a cheap TCL to use as a huge PC monitor and it’s very impressive for the price – however, I just learned of the Chinese backdoor baked into the Android smart TV version, which is very concerning. I work in tech and do realize how much data we hemorrhage for ad targeting/marketing, but this instance is much more serious.

  47. Mizanur Bhuiyan on April 12, 2021 at 2:50 am

Such TV must get high selling but the narration should be more marketable.

  48. Laguna Music on April 12, 2021 at 2:51 am

The LG CX is way better than this.

  49. no name on April 12, 2021 at 2:51 am

TCL 5 Series even better for the money

  50. The Real O'Donovan on April 12, 2021 at 2:52 am

Just before the middle of this year (2020), I bought the 55" model of this TV for my disabled wife. We had a 39" TV in the bedroom and she was having trouble seeing some of the details and making out words on the screen. When I measured the space we had, the 55" was the largest we could fit along the wall opposite the bed, where the previous TV had been, so that’s what I went with. Although she was not bedridden, my wife did not get around THAT well. She had a number of medical issues and was frequently in pain, so TV was a great distraction for her. She could lose herself in her shows and forget her medical issues for a while. I would set up pillows for her to use like a recliner, as she watched TV from her side of the bed. We called it her nest. She spent almost all her time in bed, when not going to doctor appointments, and watching TV was her favorite activity by FAR.

This TV is everything David here says it is and more. My soulmate and the love of my life passed away, suddenly and unexpectedly, on the 21st of September, 2020, just over three weeks after her 38th birthday and a week after our 18th wedding anniversary. A couple weeks before she died, she was telling me how much she liked her new TV. She actually told me it was "perfect" and told me I was her hero. Her telling me that made me cry, as I knew how much she watched it and how important it was to her quality of life. Thank you TCL, for making my wife’s last days on this Earth happier and more easy to endure.
