You people need to try a McPro24fps, it’s much much better than Filmic. Your phone can do much more! There is all manual control about everything what you dream about.

If one were to sit through a film with all of the edited parts and deleted scenes included, how many hours (or maybe even days) would I be sitting with my eyes glued to the movie screen?

I’d like to submit a challenge. I need to know what new phone records loud situation video the best. Mainly a band situation. I play drums in bands…and with the virus, more and more bands are making videos on their own. I’d like to find what phone replays the best quality video, in a loud environment.
I hope this is something you can help me with.
    Thanks.

  30. Briana Augustine on December 21, 2020 at 8:05 pm

Thank you for explaining this all so thoroughly. It’s been hard to get a clear picture of the comparisons between DSLR and smart phones. I’m looking to shoot dance films, and I’m still highly skeptical that a smart phone will accurately capture everything I want artistically, but I am a dancer choreographer with 0 film experience, so I’m sure this will be a journey either way. My best guess is to start with a smart phone and gimbal since I can more closely follow the subject in their movement but I have to say I have a picky need where I love having moments of focus on my films. Moments where I can track the slow motion movement of a spine, or the arms, or the movement of someone’s eyes leading into their next piece of choreography. Any tips on what phone would be best specifically for those needs? I’m looking at the sony xperia, but am open to other suggestions. Thanks again!

Which lights is best to use for mobile filmmaking?

  32. Sefiro Ultima on December 21, 2020 at 8:08 pm

Hello. I loved the vid. Still, felt the need to understand why you use samsung instead of apple or sony. Can understand why not being bold on it too, but I’m still in the process of making a desicion and even when I do know more now after your vid, still feel the same "need to test them" feeling I came to this vid with. Nothing against your vid, i hope my words speak more of my process than of the vid. I want to stream and make music videos. Need versatility and control without blown out colors and lights. Or I think I need that.

  40. realguitarshredder on December 21, 2020 at 8:18 pm

I am shocked at how good the nokia 808 pureview is. Still to date. It has an actual camera in it. And I am more surprised that people dont mention it when videos are being reviewed like this. I mean that phone came out in 2012 and still best camera.. certainly better than the iPhone in 2012 and dare say in some cases better than the iphone 11pro

Video starts at 5:11 for those who came for a camera comparison like the video title suggests. I think most people know the difference between a smartphone and DSLR at this point.
