  3. Admiral Aokiji on September 23, 2021 at 11:54 pm

why a80j and not a90j for playstation gamers? they have all the same features right or is the a90j a downgrade for gaming?

  4. Doctor Fresh on September 23, 2021 at 11:54 pm

What do you think of these new 4k HDMi 2.1 monitors coming out?

  5. Owen on September 23, 2021 at 11:55 pm

great video Q, I bought the 48" OLED LG C1 for the PS5 in my bedroom to future proof myself, I seldomly upgrade TVs so it needs to have a well rounded spec. Keep up the good work

  6. Mamba24x8 on September 23, 2021 at 11:55 pm

  7. EastAngliaUK on September 23, 2021 at 11:56 pm

  8. Internet Junkie on September 23, 2021 at 11:56 pm

Ok I been a subscriber for long time. Because of you I bought the Sony X930e. And still looks gorgeous.

    I want a new TV.
    I want 4K HDR and 2.1 for PS5.
    I is Sony better.
I don’t want OLED ( because of the burning)

    So wich one you recommend???

BECAUSE IN ALL YOUR VIDEOS ALL TV sucks. Example You recommend a tv… I go to that video for the review and the in the video you are talking shit about the tv.. and you recommend another TV. Then I go to see your review for that other TV.. and the same happen.

So at the end TODAY JUNE 2021 WHICH TV you recommend me?

I dont care about back plastic, Soap Opera effect etc. I want 4K HDR, Dolby Vision, HDMI 2.1.
I f is Sony Perfect if not Ok.

Thanks, I hope you read my comment.

Quantum let me just say I’ve been a huge fan it’s like you’re speaking to my soul when it comes to what I want out of my TV’s and I’m glad I found your channel because I’m going to say that I was so disappointed in the LG C1 feeling like it’s being held back this year along with this Sony OLED series I was trying to get the best of both worlds the ultimate OLED and I was banking on LG being the one they share but based on what you have explained it seems like I have to wait another year on LG to come out with the perfect model that gives me everything I wanted movies anime and supports both my consoles the way I want for PlayStation 5 and Xbox series X with the PC features being an added bonus

  12. Brilliant on September 24, 2021 at 12:04 am

Hey quantum. What’s are your thoughts with hdr vs sdr on ps5 for gaming. Is it better to have hdr on or off? Thanks!!!!

  13. atvking400 on September 24, 2021 at 12:04 am

I like your take and I agree with you. I ended up going with the LG CX and I love it but all of our needs are different.

  14. ilitkoyu on September 24, 2021 at 12:07 am

Hi Q, first of i love your videos keep it up.
I have a question about the LG C1,
i just got my ps5 and want to buy the LG C1 but i saw your video where you talked about that some options are greyed out for some settings in gamemode, my question is will LG bring a update later sometime where they will address this issue or will it stay like this.
i dont know if the CX also has the same problem.
Hope you can anwser my question THANKS
PS ” excuse my english i am from europe ”

  15. Alexander Ulv on September 24, 2021 at 12:08 am

Yeah I love playing Rocket League on my XSX with LG CX with 120hz 5ms input lag. It’s a beast for quick response gaming.

  16. SuperKokuJin916 on September 24, 2021 at 12:08 am

As always, speaking nothing but the truth, Q!!

This video gets a double thumbs up from me just for the Dengenki Bunko Fighting Climax footage alone! I haven’t played that in forever! Guilty Gear Strive is going to look SO good on my U8G (when it arrives)! I just want silky smooth frame rates, wonderful color, and no screen tearing via HDMI from my laptop.

  17. BeatelementhePiH on September 24, 2021 at 12:09 am

  22. Jeremy O'brien on September 24, 2021 at 12:14 am

In your final review for the A80J you say it’s not a gaming TV but in this video you say it’s good for playstation gamers. What’s the deal? Was there an update that made it better?

  23. Colton Tucker on September 24, 2021 at 12:15 am

He puts a lot of work & thought into his reviews, great review thank you.

  24. Dex Mac on September 24, 2021 at 12:16 am

I have to say that you made my decision of buying the 75 in TCL Series 6 the right choice for me. Earlier this year I was close to shell out $4000 or more on a LG CX. I did some research and found that the TCL was the right money saving choice for less money. Then I heard that it didn’t have HDMI 2.1. It really bothered me, thinking should I have with the Sony 900 series for $500 more? That was the money I was going to use for the PS5… I later came across your review on the series 6 and man did you slaughter it at first, but in later videos you were warming up to it and although still giving the Hisense H9G the edge the Series 6 was a close to it. Now you made me realize I’m also a product of the 90s and I don’t care about 120fps at 4K with water down graphics. Although I wish I came across your channel before I bought the TCL I now feel better about my decision. I don’t think the Hisense H9G did come in a 75 and I need something bigger. Sorry for the long text just wanted to say thank you and you got my thumps up 👍.

  28. G K on September 24, 2021 at 12:24 am

Do you think PS5 is better on LG? only interested in input lag ..

  29. Roman G on September 24, 2021 at 12:24 am

and still no one cares about flickering with VRR & Gsync even on the 2021 LG models… So for PC-Gaming there aren´t any good TV out there in 2021 which are flicker free with Gsync & 4K @ 120Hz.

Im playing lot of games which require good PC Harware, like DCS for example. So even in 1440p and a 3090, you dont get your stalbe 120fps, so I have to use Vsync ! If i would not need it, i could still play on my Q9FN with 1440p or 4k & 60fps Vsync ! But there is a noticeable difference between 60fps and 100-120fps, even in flightsim like DCS.. so i have to got that way with Gsync and VRR… but hell… that fckn flickering !!!!

  30. RedLionBox on September 24, 2021 at 12:26 am

  31. Tom Dehnert on September 24, 2021 at 12:28 am

I’m same as you game mode sucks on most TVs plus a 3080 on 4K for pc barely hits 60 on max

  32. Saeed Bagley-Yaqub on September 24, 2021 at 12:29 am

  36. 0ptimus Prime on September 24, 2021 at 12:34 am

I call hisense and they want to sent a technician to replace the board on the u8g tv for this ghosting issue that we are all having on some games now I’m wondering if is a hardware problem

  37. game98killer on September 24, 2021 at 12:34 am

    Sony x90j with my PS5 ❤

  38. CL-Audio on September 24, 2021 at 12:36 am

4k HDR PS5 gaming on U8G, there is significant ghosting. This may be due to the infancy of this tech and apparent on all brands for all I know, but it is a deal breaker for me. Returning my Hisense U8G until ghosting issues are gone. I mean what’s the point of buying a TV primarily for (gaming goodness) technology and it looks like shit with the ghosting blue border artifacts surrounding game images. No thanks. Very sad because otherwise the picture quality is baller, but I game more than I watch TV/movie content. 🙁

  39. Marcus Rembert on September 24, 2021 at 12:36 am

Great video but I have some questions, so I’m a console player so….
    1. Which TV has the most superior motion the U8G or a80j
    2. I do plan on gettin a xbox eventually can U8G & a80j do fine I know you recommended a tv for xbox but I’m willing to lose out on some features as long as things stay some what consistent

  40. yurarnd on September 24, 2021 at 12:37 am

A80J no good for online games he have big inputlag

  41. Chris Bytwerk on September 24, 2021 at 12:38 am

  42. KiD_SmoKe23 -Twyman on September 24, 2021 at 12:39 am

Thank you . You always helping out much luv 💗

  43. brokenrest on September 24, 2021 at 12:40 am

Love your videos and honest reviews! I was wondering if I could I get some advice?

I hear you mention that the C1 is not great for the ps5 because the picture settings are blocked out, will that drastically ruin the experience of motion and picture quality for ps5 story based gaming?

My use case will only be TV shows/movies and ps5. I hear you mention in other videos the C1’s motion is better than the Sonys, if I went for the A80J, would I be missing out on a lot? I was originally planning on getting the C1 based on your settings making the picture look fantastic.

For context I don’t currently own a TV, I’m more an audiophile than cinemaphile but quality is something I value particularly when spending a bit more money, so I’d love to get your opinion 🙂

  44. Luiz on September 24, 2021 at 12:40 am

Why is the lg c1 bad for a ps5?

  45. Auzzie Worker on September 24, 2021 at 12:42 am

Quantum on..Your reviews give us the knowledge to pick the right path.

  46. Jaime Ortiz on September 24, 2021 at 12:42 am

I mostly watch movies and sport no gaming which tv is best Sony A8H or LG C1 ?

  47. jude lewis on September 24, 2021 at 12:44 am

I have a ps5 I play alot of different games but first person shooters are my favorite I also can play all day on ps5 I want the best TV for that use I was thinking about either the lg c1 but I’m worried about burn in I was also considering the Samsung qn90a I want the best response time and input lag what do u think would be the better TV for my use I would greatly appreciate your feedback

  48. Marlon on September 24, 2021 at 12:45 am

You make perfect sense. It’s not about what’s the best tv. It’s about what’s the best tv for you.

I for example am more of movie/netflix/hbo max guy than I am a gamer. So picture quality is first for me before gaming. I also love watching tv in the dark and I wanted to spend under 2k for something between 50 and 55 inches. Finally, I wanted to have something ready for the xbox series x whenever I get around to purchasing it. So I went with the 55 inch lg c1. Perfect for me.

  49. Michael Mayers on September 24, 2021 at 12:46 am

Im a 90s baby but i play 2k fighting shooters adventures racing

  50. Danny Pina on September 24, 2021 at 12:46 am

What’s up Q, thinking about getting the Hisense U8G 65” after your review but went to BJ’s wholesale and saw the LG BX 65” for about 1300… will the BX Oled be better option at this price? Thanks
