I’ve never had a pre-paid phone plan, but you’ve peaked my interest. Are taxes & fees charged for these plans?

  3. Sam Kawa on March 25, 2021 at 11:57 pm

    How about Visible?

  4. Otoniel Castro on March 26, 2021 at 12:03 am

Thank you so much, you saved me a bunch of research I was dreading. Also, nice job creating a clear, simple, and to the point video here. No unnecessary fluff ๐Ÿ™Œ

My Xfinity Mobile is $15 a month for 5G and thereโ€™s no line fees etc. just taxes, and it operates on the Verizon system so its has fantastic reception coverage.

I’ve been on Mint Mobile for almost 3 years now and have literally not had ANY issues. If you can buy the full year package at a time, it’s almost a no brainer. I think I re-upped 10-11 months ago for the 8gb plan and it averaged to roughly $23/month after taxes. What’s amazing is literally not having to think about my cell phone plan except for once a year. They also just sent me a message saying my plan is now upped to 10gb a month, so perhaps when I need to renew again I’ll be able to slide down to an even cheaper tier

It would he helpful to say this applies the the US only as people may not be from the US therefore do not have these companies in their country.

  15. Tami on March 26, 2021 at 12:17 am

What is the least expensive plan with unlimited high-speed data?

  16. Marilyn Johnson on March 26, 2021 at 12:21 am

Always enjoy your info and how you break it down. I have the Verizon plan that you talk about (over a year now so have the special). Hubby has had Red Pocket Mobile for several years now itโ€™s on the Verizon network and they seem to have worked out newbie kinks. Itโ€™s on an auto pay and he gets 1G data, unlimited talk and text for $10 per month. Works great for us.

  27. Bernoullis Mom on March 26, 2021 at 12:37 am

No pricing for AT&T? Yet pricing for others. No mention of whether you have an existing AT&T plan. Connection fees per line, etc.
    Devil is in the details.
AT&T is a pain to deal with. Iโ€™ve had them for 20 yrs on a signature plan. But if I switch to ELITE plan they want documentation repeated and may not honor.
Sorry. I once respected your POV.
    Youโ€™re part of the problem.

  28. Allergic To Liberalism on March 26, 2021 at 12:37 am

  34. David Shaffer on March 26, 2021 at 12:51 am

I guess you didn’t look at Straight Talk. They have unlimited Talk, Text, and Data for $35/month fir the first 5GB of data.

  35. dabig 25 on March 26, 2021 at 12:51 am

currently have T-mobile and cover is bad to non existent in rural areas where I’m at. Verizon has the best coverage where I’m at but also the most expensive. Looking to try out US Mobile. They use Verizon and T-mobile towers. Family plans include unlimited data/text and 50gb of shared data. They offer a free Sim card to try out for 14 days

  36. Adam Nevis on March 26, 2021 at 12:54 am

Awesome video. What about the over 55 Plus crowd?

  37. Larry Storey on March 26, 2021 at 12:55 am

I switched to Verizon 5GB prepaid based on your recommendation. I get more data and it cut my monthly bill in half! Thanks dudes!
