I have a 2018 hyundai elantra sel, and its stock stereo sucks ass. Maybe upgraded hyundai stereos sound good, but the base models in the elantra at least are pretty garbo

  2. Ray on June 1, 2021 at 6:59 am

Matched my expectation well. Owning a benz and I’m looking forward to get the xc90 if the interior will be upgraded in 2022

  3. tomas chovan on June 1, 2021 at 7:00 am

I missing Naim sound in Bentley

  4. MlgVambatLegion on June 1, 2021 at 7:00 am

BMW has the best sound system, harman kardon and bowers & wilkins has very good bass and sound

  5. Jacob Eldredge on June 1, 2021 at 7:01 am

Barely into the video, but I’m gonna say that my gfs old Honda fit stereo actually sounded pretty good for stock. Better than her Miata and any car I’ve had at least. 😂

  6. Cody Daniel on June 1, 2021 at 7:01 am

    This review is so inaccurate

  7. Benoit Blanc on June 1, 2021 at 7:04 am

Really impressive that Genesis is so high up. Really disappointed BMW falls so low though, but I suppose you can’t have it all since they’re providing the most usable infotainment system by far.

  8. lycanthrope23 on June 1, 2021 at 7:04 am

    Hello Daily Motor,

    I love you. Thank you

  9. Damien Amado on June 1, 2021 at 7:05 am

I think older Honda’s have pretty good audio systems. I’m talking like the 7th gen accord and stuff

  10. 2mad2bad on June 1, 2021 at 7:06 am

In my experience BMW should be a lot lower down, their premium systems are bad. Volvo system is very good especially in the xc90

  11. J High on June 1, 2021 at 7:06 am

I knew my Volvo XC90’s Bowers & Wilkins system would be the best.

  12. Andy Wuich on June 1, 2021 at 7:09 am

You should really try out a Jeep Wrangler that has the premium alpine system option and the big subwoofer in the trunk. I believe that it’s a similar alpine system that Porsche has used.

  13. Degou RJ on June 1, 2021 at 7:10 am

for me and for many audiophiles the best sound system ever put in a car is the Naim For Bentley, especially the system that has 2200W of power. You can find it on the Bentley Continental GT and the Bentley Flying Spur, especially on the Flying Spur where it has 21 speakers. Please try one of these 2. 🙂

  14. Dante Everheart on June 1, 2021 at 7:12 am

I absolutely love the new Honda Accord but the sound system is indeed HORRENDOUS

  15. Shrimper Lincs on June 1, 2021 at 7:13 am

The Honda Premium Audio in the UK CRV must be different. As you rated it poorly and rated the RAV4 JBL system higher. Having driven both cars on the same day and revisited each to play the same DAB radio stations after each test drive, I found the RAV4 JBL was all base and boom focused, having to crank the volume to enjoy it and in the process getting loads of distortion. The Honda CRV has tweeters pillar mounted both front and rear. The same DAB radio stations were much more enjoyable at lower volumes and therefore there wasn’t the distortion in the Honda CRV. I’m not sure any sound engineering went on in the RAV4, it felt like the JBL branding was enough of an effort. The Honda on default settings was much crisper and clearer.

  16. Daniel W. on June 1, 2021 at 7:14 am

    Lovely ranking, I enjoyed it!

  17. alec robles on June 1, 2021 at 7:15 am

Charlie can you start doing older cars premium systems and see how they have held up over time

  18. Daily Motor on June 1, 2021 at 7:17 am

Here’s to 2022’s list including Porsche, Bentley, Audi, and JLR!

  19. MoNo K on June 1, 2021 at 7:18 am

    Honda is reuniting with Bose

  20. Brian Johnson on June 1, 2021 at 7:19 am

I drive a 2020 C300 and the Burmister system is second to none. I have been in many cars and I have never heard a system that is so rich in sound.

  21. clancep on June 1, 2021 at 7:23 am

    Yay Genesis!!!

  22. Enzo EdoggYT on June 1, 2021 at 7:23 am

I’d say from personal experience, Acura’s are s tier!

  23. Drive Scene on June 1, 2021 at 7:24 am

Acura’s els is definitely S tier but I agree the Mercedes is top notch as well

  24. Victor X on June 1, 2021 at 7:25 am

    Thanks, it is great!

  25. Codi Kenley on June 1, 2021 at 7:27 am

Had a 2021 crv and 2021 Nissan Rogue ended up lemon law both of them

  26. Mr.TrashPlayzYT on June 1, 2021 at 7:27 am

    Ram gotta go on top

  27. MrCarGuy on June 1, 2021 at 7:29 am

Ranking by brand definitely isn’t the best way to do it, but I guess it’s a general approximation. Would love to see savagegeese make a list of specific systems as they do objective measurements of them

  28. Kaizx456 on June 1, 2021 at 7:30 am

The new 2022 Honda Civic is going to have a new “upgraded Bose audio system “ in the touring trim so maybe a Honda might actually have decent audio now

  29. kone pine on June 1, 2021 at 7:32 am

I think Mercedes system lack bass but rather then that it’s clearest system

  30. Purple Oushein on June 1, 2021 at 7:33 am

You are the only one who reviews the loudspeakers of different car brands, and yet you take it beyond the scope of individual videos. For me personally, this is a particularly important criterion when buying a car. Thank you very much for your hard work! In addition, I would like to hear different tracks for a change. So that the tracks do not harm monetization and copyrights, it is enough when searching for music at the end to add copyright free or use youtube phonoteka))

  31. adam Chamkhi on June 1, 2021 at 7:34 am

    where is the audi

  32. MoNo K on June 1, 2021 at 7:34 am

Acura is superior, just wait for the Type-S to hit the market.

  33. ALI Junas on June 1, 2021 at 7:35 am

this was really a overall good and fun video but i think its not really trustable . cause you mixed so many different factores to get a verdict of a brand which has more than 20 different cars . sowe cant really buy a car for it sound system according to this video. but anyway great job!

  34. Thomas Williams on June 1, 2021 at 7:35 am

The xc60 models aren’t made in China anymore. It’s either the factory in the US or Sweden

  35. Donald Johnson on June 1, 2021 at 7:36 am

I’ve owned a Benz with Burmeister, and the Tesla system is hands down better.

  36. John Frantz on June 1, 2021 at 7:37 am

As a Honda owner you’re completely right, the speakers are trash

  37. Luke MTech on June 1, 2021 at 7:37 am

Great list. It would be great in future reviews if you could show what EQ settings you use for each vehicle as that usually can make a big difference.

  38. Mister Pimlott on June 1, 2021 at 7:38 am

I like the jbl out of all of these…….. b.gbbbv… JBL is the best I swear

  39. David Stone on June 1, 2021 at 7:39 am

This is helpful! I’ve always hated how most car reviews gloss over sound quality if they even mention it at all, especially on anything other than top trims

  40. Ilija Džambo on June 1, 2021 at 7:43 am

    What about Opel/Vauxhall/Saturn?

  41. Wale Aliz on June 1, 2021 at 7:44 am

Good job or the video as always i appreciate it
but ranking company’s based on 1 or 2 cars sometimes seem unfair

  42. Benoit Blanc on June 1, 2021 at 7:45 am

Really impressive that Genesis is so high up. Really disappointed BMW falls so low though, but I suppose you can’t have it all since they’re providing the most usable infotainment system by far.

    Doit

  44. CanadaCraig on June 1, 2021 at 7:48 am

I think you just nudged me into buying an Acura. Thanks.

  45. ALI Junas on June 1, 2021 at 7:48 am

been waiting for this video for so long

  46. Darrel Und on June 1, 2021 at 7:49 am

honda apparently worked with pioneer for the new vezel/hrv with 10 speaker, they said it includes kevlar speaker and a dsp. hope you can test that in the future!

  47. chris atkins on June 1, 2021 at 7:52 am

Yeah look forward to seeing more like JLR, Bentley and Audi / Lamborghini B&Os, and the Burmester in the Porsche, love listening to really good sound systems, although the normal B&Os on the Audis aren’t as good as the Burmesters in the Mercedes in my opinion that is, great comparison though!!

  48. Femi Ogunsola on June 1, 2021 at 7:53 am

I disagree with the Escalade in B. I think it ranks with the A listers if not S.

  49. Dennis Foster on June 1, 2021 at 7:54 am

Yes JLR needs to be included

  50. Belarus 1966 on June 1, 2021 at 7:57 am

does the audi a8 high end b&o sounds the same as a6 high end b&o ?
