5 Best BUDGET TVs For PS5

The best gaming TV for PS5 broken down into 5 differently priced TVs, of which are all budget (under $1000). The best 4k tv to buy in 2021 is a very general term that doesn’t necessarily apply to all situations. For the Playstation 5 you need a very specific type of TV. For starters it has to be under $1000, secondly it needs to be 4K, and ideally it needs to be 120hz too. These TVs are all that and more with unique appeals.

The TCL 6-series is not $800. Perhaps it was at the time this video was release, but it’s a $1,000 TV now. I just bought a budget Tv for my PS5 – It’s a 50" Vizio MQ7 2020 model. It was only $429 at Gamestop website. It is capped at 60Hz, but it does have VRR, HDMI 2.1 and a gaming mode that features auto low latency. I don’t think you can beat that in this price range. Also, it’s worth noting that 90% of the existing PS5 games don’t even have a 120Hz mode at this point. I think this Vizio should be fine for the next 12 months. I assume 120Hz will become the norm around this time next year.

Great video. One question: I have yet to unbox and set-up my PS5 Console, but my TV is only 100Hz capable (or "100 Smooth Motion Rate"). I know I can only use upto a 2.0B HDMI Cord (Not a nicer 2.1 Cord), but all in all will this satisfy me to experience a "decent" Game and HD player?

  7. FatBoy Slimz on November 21, 2021 at 1:57 pm

to be honest for the price of the #1 tcl a gamer who plans to just game, can get a nice gaming monitor for that price

I bought the Nano 85 last year on Black Friday and I’m getting the TCL 646 or the x90j to replace it. Yes, on paper it should work nice but the LG IPS/APS LED’s SUCK!!!

    Is HDMI 2.1 that important?

  12. Dex Mac on November 21, 2021 at 2:01 pm

Umm the TCL Series 6 only has HDMI 2.1 so it can’t deliver 4K at 120 that is described in this video. It is a 120htz panel but can’t produce 4K at 120 only at 60. If I’m wrong I would like to see the source.

i wouldnt buy anything except LG, all those cheaper TVs has bad reviews all over

  27. Ant 3601 on November 21, 2021 at 2:42 pm

The TVs looking insane! But for gaming, I’d go for the Vizio (at 3:55) as it is the one that resembles the most to a gaming monitor, so I’d expect lower input lag, which is key, but other than that awesome video!

I got an lg nano85 its 120hz and looks awsome without local dimming on for the ps5 and paid 650 new but id suggest the nano 90 and up its full array and not edge lit makes a big azz difference..hdmi 2.1 VRR

  29. Big Chris with a tiny piece on November 21, 2021 at 2:44 pm
