What do you recommend between Samsung q80t and Vizio Oled? Both 65inch are $1500. I play all sorts of connect but mostly hdr movies Netflix and gaming.

  2. Sum8 on January 22, 2021 at 5:55 pm

Hey, would you recommend me getting a Sony A8H now or should I wait till 2021?

  3. Lighthawk Demon on January 22, 2021 at 5:57 pm

Is there a special pre-calibration video on YouTube that I can play extensively on my new Sony OLED to break it in before having it calibrated?

  4. Tom905 on January 22, 2021 at 5:58 pm

What is the best TV for handling reflections? I have a window in front of the TV and reflections gives me a headache and drives me crazy. I think all 4K TV will look great if you can get rid of the reflection and without this rainbow effect. I have a 10 year old Sharp and it has no reflections at all.

  5. Tom Connell on January 22, 2021 at 5:58 pm

is the LG C9 77" better than the Sony X950H 85"?

  6. PecanPineapple on January 22, 2021 at 5:58 pm

I’m digging all of your reviews! Very honest and educational.

Quick Question: I don’t see the hisense h9g available anywhere. I agree with not wanting to be a beta tester for hdmi 2.1 and would love to purchase a good movie streaming and ps5 (4k 60hz) gaming tv. For me, it’s quite hard to pin down the right buy. My brain is telling me if I get a 2019 awesome 4k 60hz tv i’ll be golden as I really don’t play competitive on play station games and the tv will mostly be used for watching tv shows or movies. Do you have any advice on what the best purchases are for what I’m looking for?

Really love your stuff btw! Keep rocking with the awesome honest reviews/advice!

  7. Sebastian Sjoberg on January 22, 2021 at 5:58 pm

Hey man, love your videos, my go too when just wanting to kill some time or thinking about buying something.
    Now to my question.
Im looking for a new tv, around the 65" spectrum.
The tv will be a netflix and ps5 tv.
Will be standing in my living room and be in a bright enviroment and a dark enviroment evening time (gaming time).
What tv would you recommend, price point up to 2000 $.
Keep rocking and doing your thing, big fan.

  8. Xiaozhe SHI on January 22, 2021 at 5:59 pm

Over all your videos, this one is my favorite, thanks.

  9. John Turtle on January 22, 2021 at 6:00 pm

Love your no bullshit reviews man. I purchased lG oled tv and traded it in for sony oled and professionally calibrated and it is exactly what you said (5:07).. I would like to have a newer tv what should i go for LED wise? (sony 950H or Q90T Samsung) mostly for movies and xbox 360 gaming.. lol

  11. Deb on January 22, 2021 at 6:04 pm

I rewatched the outro like 50times😂😂

  12. thechamp4035 on January 22, 2021 at 6:05 pm

I know I’m a bit late but what Tv’s would you recommend from 2018 & 2019?. I’ve had a 32 inch Vizio 720p for years and as crazy as it might sound but I enjoyed that tv to the best of its ability while I’ve had it. I went out and purchased a Samsung series 6 Tizen and returned it after 4 days and exchanged it for a LG UN7000 4K and not enjoying this one either. I was looking at the Sony x800h but came across your review mad it made me think twice. I don’t really need the latest and greatest , just looking for something I’ll enjoy. I mainly stream Netflix and Blu-Rays off of my ps4. I have a separate monitor for gaming.

  13. Peyman Oghbaei on January 22, 2021 at 6:05 pm

I just bought Sony 850g 65 inch and I extremely disappointed …. hell ya this tv has no contrast at all

  14. eric di meglio on January 22, 2021 at 6:08 pm

I quantum… Do you have the conditions to give me your opinion about the Panasonic hz 2000?

  15. Vladimir Radu on January 22, 2021 at 6:09 pm

Great TV comparison !! Nobody talks about dark room power consumption and the internal media player of the new TVs. For example – I have 3 HDDs hooked up to my 2014 Samsung LED TV so I don’t have to change discs all the time. My TV also leaves markers on all the videos so i can resume them next day/week/month. Can the new TVs do the same ?? THANX !!!!

  16. Billy Conforto on January 22, 2021 at 6:10 pm

I think i’m going with the TCL S535. Not really a videophile and it should pair great with my new TCL Alto 9+ soundbar with Dolby Atmos.

  17. John Arevalo on January 22, 2021 at 6:11 pm

I have a Samsung q8fn 65 inch. I’m considering a new TV to make it my primary. Being I plan on getting a ps5, I was leaning on getting the Sony x900H. Which is overall better? Especially the contrast, black levels, full array. Can u help me out. BTW, I watch lots of movies and I love to game. I care about picture quality

  18. Alan Diego Villalobos on January 22, 2021 at 6:12 pm

So I bought the Sony a8g 65. Yesterday, watching soccer I did NOT miss my Sony X950G. What I do miss is that with the ultimate chip you can change picture setting faster. Also Bluetooth for my headset is faster. All this from the quick settings menu ONLY with the ultimate chip.

  19. Nicholas Haley on January 22, 2021 at 6:12 pm

looking for a tv right now for 500 or less. i watch mostly movies and some side gaming, any recommendations? if not ill just wait till next year

  20. MrD on January 22, 2021 at 6:13 pm

Thanks. I have a 1-2 year old LG regular LED. its decent but blooming sucks. Was going to get a x950h. But i may wait till 2021. I want a led or micro led if they better. Just tired of the gray blacks. But dont want to go oled yet. I just hope 2021 doesn’t turn out to be crap and i should’ve just got the x950h.

  21. Apothecy on January 22, 2021 at 6:15 pm

    Any 43 inch?

  22. J Puckett on January 22, 2021 at 6:19 pm

Umm, yeah. I have a 10-yo 58" Panasonic plasma TV. Pretty sure I could buy the biggest POS of 2020 and be perfectly happy for another 10 years.

  23. Robert Arutunian on January 22, 2021 at 6:19 pm

Was going to wait since was using Samsung QLED that has nice picture. However the speakers on the TV have started having distortion and resonance with certain frequencies affected some music and voices. In addition the Optical out on the TV stopped working and I was using external sound bar and subwoofer because of the TV speaker issues. Just ordered the Sony X950H due to the audio problems on the Samsung. Do not know if the issues with the Samsung are repairable but decided to move on. Hope I made decent choice with the Sony. Thanks for all the great video reviews you do!

  24. Patrick Snyder on January 22, 2021 at 6:20 pm

So when in 2021 do the new models hit the shelves?

  25. Neil Thegratefuldad on January 22, 2021 at 6:25 pm

Hi Mr quantum. I’M not sure where to pist a question.
I enjoy your honesty and understand there are pros and cons with everuthing.
Ive been watching many of your videos after among XBR75X900F died with the 4 leds of death.
Ill not get into that, but Im not happy with Sony right now.
Have you ever reviewed the Hi sense 85H6570G?
Any thoughts for a mainly HDR, movies, very little game play.
Looking for smallest size 82, but rather 85 or 86 inch
Don’t care year, but supply for q8fn is nil and no 85 inch.

Ok, ideas for large 85 inch under $2000 please don’t laugh

  26. Michael Messamore on January 22, 2021 at 6:28 pm

  28. Brian Drake on January 22, 2021 at 6:32 pm

    Sony x900h or Samsung Q70t for ps5?

  29. Ira Korin on January 22, 2021 at 6:32 pm

If I had the money I’d probably would have bought the Sony X900H to fit the Playstation 5 I would have bought.
Thanks for making me feel fortunate for being unemployed and a father for a second son (which I’m very fortunate and joyous to be but the chance of getting in debts due to unemployment is not fun) which makes me unable to upgrade my 7 year old Philips FHD TV.

  30. sovanndara soun on January 22, 2021 at 6:33 pm

Hi there, just wanna confirm. We should not update H9G?

  31. sid on January 22, 2021 at 6:33 pm

Dyamm… 30 min video in under 7mins…. Liked

  32. Fernando S. on January 22, 2021 at 6:33 pm

LOL love your comment about "if you are coming from a 5-10 yr old tv you are not going to care about anything you just said" hilarious but try because anything you buy today will be twice as good lol

  33. Joelo on January 22, 2021 at 6:33 pm

I just get a 2019 q70r 75” from Best Buy, open box like new for 700.00 and I’m waiting until 2030

  34. jsutty on January 22, 2021 at 6:34 pm

i got the q70t on sale…for the price i paid i love it…also for being am edge lit tv im surprised how uniform and sharp the picture is…obviously suffers slightly it extremely dark scenes but everywhere else i find it to be spectacular…will use it for ps5 but im not caught up in the 4k@120 thing because i know thats still a ways down the road to be widely adopted…4k 60 or 1080 60/120 is what im after and the q70t does have 2.1

  35. Rashad, The Stranger on January 22, 2021 at 6:34 pm

Its the CX isnt it? 😅

  36. Shadow31ex on January 22, 2021 at 6:35 pm

Please advise.. I’m not as big on TV ‘s tech but I have a pro question to ask.
My goal is to get a PS5 (and screw anyone whom think I’ll pay a dollar extra just to get) and my pick from them all was the Samsung 4K uhd direct full array 16x and my backup plan is the Sony 900. My question is will the Samsung q90t be able to handle use all the ps5 features if I get it. One hdmi 2.1 doesn’t bother at all.

  37. M W on January 22, 2021 at 6:35 pm

Why did your stance change on lg, watched some of your older videos on c8 and c9 where you said were much more immersive than qled & led, what changed with cx? Would you recommend getting a c9 still?

  38. BlaZe on January 22, 2021 at 6:37 pm

Samsung q80t or sony x900h, in mexico the q90t is available in 65" so is out of my list

  39. Jose Lemus Jr on January 22, 2021 at 6:39 pm

Coming from a old 2016 e-class vizio 55" 1080p. Anyway finally have the money to go 4k. My biggest things are movies and sports and cap’ing my budget to 1200 max. Currently run a plex server and gotta have my sports look right. Trying to squeeze in a nvidia shield also eventually.

Basically also want reliability. This old tv has given me zero issues.

  40. David Thaw on January 22, 2021 at 6:40 pm

Hey Quantum, I’m looking to buy a 75” at around the $1000 mark, what are my best options? I’m ok buying an older model. I know people were raving about the first 6 series TCL (R617 I believe), I was wonder if I should go that route or just get something like a LG NanoCell 80 or the Sony X750H. Thoughts?

  41. Jordan Walker on January 22, 2021 at 6:40 pm

Problem is my current tv is £200 trash and I don’t wanna play ps5 on trash for a full year before better TVs come out

  42. Tank Connors on January 22, 2021 at 6:42 pm

  49. Pascual Pena on January 22, 2021 at 6:52 pm

Thank You for this video. I saw the original video about the Hisense H9G but I did not saw the updated video. I purchased the Hisense H9G and I don’t know if it’s just me but the color red does not look accurate. Netflix and Marvel logo red does not look good at all. I have been testing it for a few days but I might just return it and wait for something better. thank you for your help.

  50. Dexter Lua on January 22, 2021 at 6:54 pm

Thanks for this video, gonna pass up this year, watching this now at Black Friday and was interested in getting into 120hz TVs.
